13. Halloween part 1

Liza's POV

It's Halloween. I get up and put on my costume. I walk over to the mirror in the bathroom. 

Liza: "Nice."

I laugh and walk back to my room. Thinking about cereal makes me hungry, so I walk down to the kitchen. I see that my mom has left for work already, so I grab a piece or bread and an apple. 

I eat while I scroll through my Instagram. I don't see anything new on Instagram, so I go onto Twitter. Again, there is nothing new, so I decide to tweet something. 

Liza: Merry Halloween!

I laugh. As soon as I put my phone down, I feel it buzz

Twitter: David Dobrik liked your tweet. 

I frowned then smiled. I decided to call David

David: "Hey Liza. What's up?"

Liza: "The ceiling. Do you happen to have my post notifications turned on?"

David: "Well... umm.. umm... no definitely not."

Liza: "David. Stop lying to me."

David: "Ok maybe I do."

Liza: "Why are you so obsessed with me?"

David: "I'm not!"

I laugh, and I hear him laugh too.

David: "Did I ever tell you that your laugh is so infectious?"

Liza: "No. You didn't. But thanks."

David: "Oh I totally forgot! Merry Halloween!"

Liza: "Stop quoting me!"

David: "Yeah but I can't think of anything funny, so I just steal your ideas."

Liza: "I am going to take that as a compliment."

David: "That's how it was intended."

I smile as he says this. He is always complimenting me. It's sweet.

*Time skip to school*

I get off the bus and walk to our normal meeting spot. 

Gabbie: "Hey miss cereal killer!"

I turn around to see Gabbie.

Liza: "Hey social butterfly!"

She gives me a hug and we walk over to the benches.

Gabbie: "So, Zane Has invited all of us over for a little Halloween party. Wanna come?"

Liza: "If we are at a party, how do we trick of treat?"

Gabbie: "Liza, Highschoolers don't trick or treat."

Liza: "Ok then. I will be there."

Gabbie: "Ok all of us will be there then. Oh shoot! I forgot to ask David. Can you?"

Liza: "Yeah sure!"

Gabbie: "Ok well I have to get off to my class but I will talk to you later."

I wave at her as she leaves. Now I have to go find David. 

I end up meeting up with David in science class.

David: "Hey Liza."

Liza: "Hey stalker."

He smiles and I sit down next to him.

Science teacher (AN: Let's call him Mr. Jones): "Hello again class! So I know that the past month we have been moving seats however we please, but from now on, the person you are sitting next to will be your science partner for the whole year."

I look over at David who is smiling a lot

Liza: "Why are you smiling so much?"

David: "Because we get to work together every science class."

I nudge his arm and chuckles a little. 

Mr. Jones: "Ok so now that you have to deal with that person for the whole year, I want to take this class to get you guys to learn more about each other. So I will hand out these papers and you guys need to answer all of them together." 

Mr. Jones hands out the papers and we start working on them.

David: "let's not just ask each other. Because we are friends and we know so much about each other, let's see who knows the other person better."

Liza: "Oh you are on!"

David: "Ok your favorite colour is... Purple!"

Liza: "And yours is black"

David: "Ding ding ding!"

I laugh and we keep doing.

David: "Your favourite show growing up was... nothing."

Liza: "You didn't have one either."

David: "We know so much about each other!"

Liza: "Too much!"

David: " musician."

David & Liza: "Twenty Øne Pilots!"

We both smile and keep filling in the questions.

Liza: "Place you really want to travel... Paris."

David: "You want to go to New york."

Liza: "Your best friend is Alex"

David: "Your best friend is Gabbie"

David & Liza: "Wrong!"

I stare at him amazed that we both said that at the same time.

David: "Wait if it isn't Gabbie who is it?"

Liza: "We both say on three?"

David & Liza: "Three, Two, One. You"

I blush and David smiles.

David: "I didn't know that I was your best friend!"

Liza: "Same here!"

*Bell rings*

Mr. Jones: "Ok well I hope that you learned something about whoever you are sitting next to! See you all next class."

We walk outside to eat lunch.

Liza: "Oh David. I was supposed to ask if you wanted to join the gang for a Halloween party?"

David: "And miss trick or treating? Will you be there?"

Liza: "Yeah I am going."

David: "Ok then I will be there!"

I smile as we sit down to eat lunch.
