Pain! The most amazing title ever! Just... pain... guess what this chapter is about. Maybe, oh I don't know... pain? Yeah... anyway!

"Please. I don't want to see you get hurt. Give me your pain. I promise you'll enjoy it..." Shiki told me with a devilish smile as he held me close in his arms.

('Devilish... don't you mean fallen angelish...?' Says amazing girl in comments. Yes, KrazyKatBD you are right. It should be fallen angelish, shouldn't it? My mistake)

"I...I don't feel right about this. I hate to hurt you, Shiki. I just don't think I can do this..." I told him.

"What would feel wrong? What's so bad about pain? Why won't you do it?" He asked, twisting my words around.

"(Y/n). I can make it all better. I can stop the pain. And turn it to pleasure. Don't you trust me?" Shiki asked.

Of course... That question. It got me every time...

"Yes... I do trust you," I told him.

"Then trust that I can make all your pain go away with one bite. No matter what, I'll always love you so don't think this would change that. Don't be scared. Remember what I told when we first met? Don't let what scares you stop you from doing the things you want to do," Shiki told me as he gently brushed his fingers through my hair and took a deep breath.

"Ok... I'll do it," I told him after I thought carefully about what he had told me.

He was right. I did trust him. After all we've been through, why wouldn't I? I'm sure he isn't hiding anything. So why can't I get rid of this feeling?! The feeling that there's something he's not telling me... I guess after all this time I still don't trust him completely... (and while all these thoughts went on, I got closer to biting Shiki's neck. Like in slow motion... anyway!)

I bit down into Shiki's neck as he let out a shiver. He clenched onto me as he squinted his eyes shut from the pain. And of course, his face was bright red from this.... of course...

After a while, Shiki's nails began to dig into my skin so I released him and let the blood drop down my chin from my red lips...

"How do you feel?" Shiki asked.

"Much better... thank you, Shiki," I told him, a little unsure of how I should act.

After all, I had just bit my boyfriend so I really wasn't sure how to respond to his questions. Or how he should respond to my answers. I was so confused. What was one supposed to do after biting their boyfriend after he asked them to? Seriously?!

"Does... it hurt?" I asked, looking at his bleeding neck.

"Yes. The pain is chilling. Like a burn scared on me, as painful as the sharp blade of a knife. It's very painful. Thank you," he told me.

God! What?! He... he loves it! He bloody loves it! For god sake, Shiki. What's wrong with you?!

"Err... well, I'm sorry...?" I mumbled, still unsure if that was the right response.

Turns out it was...

"Don't be. It's so adorable when you apologize. Makes me love you even more," he told me before he kissed me passionately despite the blood dripping from my lips.

He wrapped his arms around me to keep me close as I made no attempts to stop him.

But he pulled away as a rush of air lifted my waving hair.

"Is... something wrong?" I asked confusedly.

"... it's nothing. Come on, we should go..." he told me as he looked around.

He seemed so distracted. Was it me? Why was he suddenly acting all mysterious? Does he sense danger or something? Wait... can angels even do that? Oh, I don't know... why was he acting like this though? Well, whatever it is... I will find out!

He pulled me back to the school.

Goddamnit! I keep missing classes cause of this guy! Ugh!

"Shiki, what's going on?" I asked.

"It's nothing. Don't worry. I won't let them hurt you," Shiki told me.

"Who?!" I asked as Shiki dragged me behind.

"No one! Just stop asking questions! It's not important, ok?!" He snapped.

"If it's not important then why can't you tell me-"

Shiki suddenly darted around a corner.

"Shiki, what's going on?!" I yelled.

"Nothing it's just-" he suddenly stopped talking as he noticed something just in front of him.

"Shiki...?" I mumbled.

I turned my head to see where he was looking and as soon as I did... I could see why he was so shocked...
