What'd I do this time?!
I look up at Luke who's still glaring at me.
"What?" I ask getting annoyed.
"Raya, I wouldn't be back talking the guy with the gun." Monroe whispers and I raise an eyebrow.
"You did earlier!"
"Yeah, but that was before three people got killed!"
"You girls better get home before your parents start worrying." Luke says trying to stay undercover in front of Monroe.
"You're gonna just let us go?" Monroe asks confused.
"Take some advice and stop walking around at dark, Blondie."
"I've been trying to tell her that for years now." I mutter and she nudges me with her arm.
"Okay, let's get out of here." Monroe says pulling me after her and I glance back to see Luke already gone.
...
I hug Monroe once we get to her house and sigh.
"I'll see ya tomorrow."
"Why don't you stay here, after everything that's happened?"
"I have to get home, I'll be fine." I state walking backwards.
"You'd better be, text me when you get home or I'm coming with a rifle!" She warns and I laugh.
"Alright!"
I walk away and turn the corner to see Luke The Red Lion standing there with his arms crossed glaring at me.
"What?" I ask and he straightens walking towards me.
"Do you not pay attention in training?!" He growls annoyed.
"Yes, I do."
"Then why didn't you follow the rules?!" He demands angrily.
"What rules are you referring to?" I ask getting annoyed.
"What did they say about injuring and killing when your life is on the line?!"
"That if you only injure them they can get a weapon or get back up and kill you first." I sigh.
"EXACTLY!"
"Luke, I wasn't gonna just kill someone!"
"They were about to kill you!" He yells.
"We had it under control."
"Not from where I was standing!"
"Would you calm down?!" I ask.
"No! Where were you in the first place? You were supposed to be at the meeting." Luke demands.
"I didn't want to go!"
"Then why didn't you tell me?! Or at least bring one of the body guards?!"
"I didn't need them, I don't need them and I never will! I am not gonna have someone else just die for me!"

"Raya!"

"What?!" I shout sitting up and looking around with wide eyes.
"Whoa!"
I look up to see Luke and Justin giving me a worried expression.
"Raya? You okay?" Justin asks and I nod.
"Yeah, why?"
"You talked in your sleep." Justin murmurs looking down at me.
"What'd I say?" I ask getting worried.
"Uh something like 'figure it out and stop worrying'."
Luke answers and I sigh leaning back.
"Crazy dream." I state.
More like very old memory.
That was two years ago...give a few weeks. Why am I remembering this now?
I frown looking over at Luke who raises an eyebrow.
"Should I be worried?" He asks and I shake my head siting up and stretching.
"Did your...friend contact you earlier?" I whisper so only Luke can hear, but he shakes his head.
"No, not a word."
I nod my understanding and look out the window seeing large gray clouds looming in the sky and blocking out the sun.
"You should've listened to me." Luke whispers and I frown feeling the doubt creep in.
Maybe I should've...but they haven't found me yet so I don't see how the would now.
"When do I ever listen?"
I say with a smirk while  pushing away the doubts.
"...true, I think Loverboy's getting jealous."
I glance over to see Justin with a scowl as he glares at Luke.
"Awe, what's wrong?" I ask snuggling into his side and I hear his breathing hitch in surprise.
"N-nothing." He stutters and I smirk.
"Didn't look like it." I whisper into his neck.
"Y-you weren't p-paying attention to me." He mumbles his cheeks tinting pink from embarrassment.
"Oh you poor baby." I say in a girly voice and suddenly he's right in my face.
"Don't test me Raya." He whispers his nose brushing mine.
....
Without warning I'm pulled backwards by the hood of my jacket.
"Whoa."
"Don't. Kiss. My. Sister." Luke growls to Justin who has a surprised expression.
Uh...
"He didn't kiss me." I state.
"You're her brother?" Jo asks surprised and I shrug.
"He was about to!" Luke grumbles to me annoyed.
"She's my girlfriend." Justin says and I raise an eyebrow.
"When did I agree to this?"
I ask and he turns cherry red.
I've never understood why people say beet red when beets are a dark purple color.
"I-I umm...well..."
I just cover his mouth so he doesn't end up embarrassing   himself more then he already has.
"Okay guys, Luke is basically my brother. It's just the way we grew up." I answer and the others nod in understanding.
"Now that that's cleared up, has Justin asked you out?" Jo asks me and I shake my head.
"He wasn't gonna kiss me." I state.
"But he called you his 'girlfriend'." Jo continues and I frown.
"No, he has not asked me out." I answer and Jo scowls like I just told her she has pickle juice in her hair.
I glance over at Justin who has his face turned away and Jo's giving him a look like 'you moron'.
AWKWARD SILENCE!
Nathan coughs awkwardly before turning up the music.
...
BEEP! BEP!
I glance down at Luke's phone in his hand and frown.
I watch Luke's eyebrows furrow in confusion.
"What?" I ask leaning closer to read.

G's Number.
"Blake said no one was there to meet him, but the place looked ransacked."

I feel my eyes widen as I read.
"Why would they send Blake? He's thirteen!" I growl in Luke's ear and Justin glances over raising an eyebrow.
"Raya." Luke warns and I glare.
"Answer me."
"Things have changed back home."
"How?"
"Well if you wouldn't have left-"
"Look, Don't throw this back on my Luke Perish." I warn and he sighs.
"Blake has been going through some things and wanted to take a mission to clear his head."
"He's thirteen." I growl annoyed.
"Fourteen."
"Big difference! By what? Two weeks?!"
"I'm not gonna when this either way, am I?"
"Nope."
"Jeez woman! Okay after you chose to leave-"
"You agreed that it was a good idea."
"No! I agreed for Monroe to leave because of the incident."
"That was not my fault."
"What wasn't your fault?" Justin asks causing me to jump.
"Are you trying to give me a heart attack?!" I ask punching his arm.
"...maybe?" He asks with a chuckle and I smile rolling my eyes.
Dork, but he's a cute dork.
