Monroe takes that as my signal for Team B to jump into action.
Her and her group all aim their guns, some jumping down from the balcony.
Wyatt looks around seeming relaxed as he observes the situation. Blood Arrow on the other hand looks ready to explode in anger.
"You. You planned this."
He glares at me as I smirk.
"You honestly thought that'd I'd just walk in here without a plan? And if that didn't work a plan B? Why do you think I'm respected as a gang leader's daughter? Because of the name? No. It's because I know how to lead, fight and choose what's right for the gang. All you know how to do is boss and threaten those in your gang."
"You're going to regret going back on your word."
He warns and I narrow my eyes readying my gun.
"You're going to regret messing with me in the first place."
As I go to pull the trigger several of Blood Arrow's gang members leap forward trying to land an attack on me. I quickly dodge trying to avoid the knives as I keep an eye on Blood Arrow to make sure he doesn't escape.
I watch as several other members surround him like a shield for protection.
Coward!
I glare in annoyance.
Why would these people follow him?
What could he possibly be holding over them?
They use my distracting thoughts as an advantage to land a hit.
A small knife slices its way across my arm forming a small skin wound.
I punch the man in the face sending him flying back to the floor.
Jerk.
I kick his knife away from his hand before dodging another trying to tackle me to the floor.
I begin to struggle when seven others all run over surrounding me.
"Scared Silver Eyes?"
One asks causing me to roll my eyes.
"Of you? That's funny."
I mock noticing Asher over his shoulder. Asher knocks him out with the back of his gun.
"Thanks."
"No problem."
"Shouldn't you be up top with Monroe?"
I ask trying to find her in the mess of people.
"I was actually just looking for her."
He murmurs looking around.
I hear him take in a sharp breath before darting off.
I follow his gaze to see Monroe.
Some guy from the Blood Gang has a handful of her hair causing her to flinch in both annoyance and pain.
Asher punches the guy right in the nose sending him falling back to the floor holding his bloody face.
Ouch.
Nice punch though.
Asher checks on Monroe while I turn back to Blood Arrow.
The sooner I finish this the sooner I can go home and there will be less of a chance of someone getting hurt.
"Blood Arrow!"
I yell trying to find that blackmailing coward.
"Where are you!"
Suddenly a hand covers my mouth pulling me back into another room.
I look up in surprise to see Wyatt.
"He's up on the second floor."
Wyatt murmurs his voice rough.
What?
He pulls his hand away from my mouth before taking a step back.
"Lets go."
My eyes narrow in confusion.
"Why are you helping me?"
I ask following him a few steps behind. For all I know this is a trap.
Wyatt remains silent as we begin climbing up a flight of stairs.
"I don't agree with his methods let alone the way he runs this place."
"Least you have common sense."
I mutter causing him to smirk in amusement.
"Not to mention I owe you and the Silver Gang a lot."
"For what?"
I ask while reloading my gun.
"You've been able to stand up to him many times and you're determined not to lose this fight. I admire that."
I raise an eyebrow at his words.
"If you're lying and this is a trap, I won't hesitate to shoot."
I warn earning a smirk.
"I know, but unfortunately for you you'd miss."
"I'll take my chances."
He glances back at me amused.
"He's through there."
Wyatt says gesturing to a wooden door.
"Lead the way then."
I state showing I still don't trust him.
He walks forward and opens the door to reveal an empty library.
"Liar!"
I growl spinning around and holding a knife to his throat as I push him towards the wall.
"Where is he."
I demand my eyes narrowed.
He looks down at me seeming relaxed his face expressionless.
In one fast movement he grabs the knife from my hand holding it to my neck as he pushes me against the wall.
"You lied."
I growl reaching for my gun in my holster.
"I didn't lie."
I pull the gun out and press it against his stomach. He looks down in surprise.
"Then where is he?"
I demand growing impatient.
I don't have time for this!
"You're a good fighter, but not very patient are you?"
"You've got about five seconds before I pull the trigger."
I warn causing him to roll his eyes.
"There's a secret cellar."
"Where?"
I ask causing him to turn on his heel before walking over to the corner of a large rug.
"Haven't you ever watched a spy movie?"
He asks pulling the carpet back to reveal a pull up door.
"Seemed a little to cliche to ever be real."
I murmur lowering my gun as I walk forward.
He opens the latch with a creak to reveal an unsteady ladder leading down into a dimly lit hallway.
I walk quietly with Wyatt beside me.
"You know you're going to have to trust me if you want to take down Blood Arrow."
"I don't have to trust anyone."
I mutter causing him to raise an eyebrow.
"So you're just going to watch me out of the corner of your eye to make sure I don't make a wrong move?"
"Basically."
"Hmmph!"
He laughs shaking his head.
"What?"
"You."
"What about me?"
"Nothing. Makes sense that'd you'd be careful considering you are the famous Silver Eyes."
I ignore his words as we approach a door.
"Ready?"
Wyatt asks and I nod.
"Of course I am."
I smirk just as he pulls the door open.
