The Night of the Comet - Meet My Family

In the next morning Evangeline enters the share closet where her sister is writing; she nears the window bench unnoticed by Elena and takes a peak at what her twin has written 'I will see him again. For the first time in a long time, I feel good' Evangeline reads the last sentence to herself.

Elena was more involved with Stefan than she thought, but he made her happy, so Eve knew that, more than ever, she had to keep her thoughts to herself.

"Someone is in love" Evangeline teased her sister

Elena almost jumps out of her skin and quickly closes her diary "Hey, you're not supposed to read this" she complain getting up

Evangeline grin at her sister "Too late" she declared walking out of the room, followed by her sister

On the corridor stood Jenna, all dress up in a black dress, looking at herself in the mirror.

"Do I look adult?" Jenna asked her nieces giving a little spin "As in respectfully parental?" she adds in a serious tone

"Depends on where you're going." Elena answered

Jenna kept looking at herself in the tall mirror "Jeremy's parent-teacher conference."

"Owww poor Jenna" Evangeline lets out knowing full well what Jenna was in for. Elena gives her a small shove warning her to not scare Jenna even more that she already was. Eve just shrugs her shoulders apologetic and mouthed a 'sorry' to her sister.

Thankfully Jenna was in her own word and didn't hear her niece.

"Hair up or down?" Jenna asked catching the twin's attention. She put her hair up and looks at them expectant.

"Sexy stewardess." Elena said right away

Hearing that, Jenna lets her hair down and waits for an opinion.

"Boozy housewife." Elena said without a second thought.

Jenna gives Elena a weird look "Up it is." She says putting her hair back up "You're feisty today." She points out

"Yeah" Evangeline agrees walking to her aunt's side "I wonder why..." she teases her sister

Elena rolls her eyes at them "I feel good, which is rare. So I've decided to go with it. Fly free, walk on the sunshine, and all that stuff." She said smiling from ear to ear "Where is Jeremy?" she asked before anyone could say anything else

"He left early." Jenna said finishing up her hair "Something about getting to wood shop early to finish a birdhouse." After saying that out loud Jenna pauses, realization hitting her in that moment. She looks at her nieces that had a 'did you seriously believe that' look in their faces

"There is no wood shop, is there?" Jenna asked disappointed at herself for believing that

The twins shake their heads "No." Elena was the one to answer

"But 5 points to him for creativity" Evangeline joked making Elena smile

"Yeah." Jenna let out frustrated. The day was not going her away, and it was just the beginning.

The twins head down stairs grabbing something to eat in the kitchen and going to school soon after.

In the history class Evangeline could help but focus on her sister and Stefan melting all over each other from afar while tanner keeps blabbing in the background

"Originally discovered nearly 5 centuries ago, it hasn't been over Mystic Falls in over 145 years. Now, the comet will be its brightest right after dusk during tomorrow's celebration. Are we bothering you, Mr. Salvatore? Ms. Gilbert?" he says calling out Elena and Stefan.
