Family Ties - She Says He Said

Eve was seating on the couch next to her aunt, the news playing on tv. Apparently the animal that, supposedly, bit Vicky and killed Tanner, attacked a hunter and got killed, bad choice of prey.

"To repeat, the animal terrorizing Mystic Falls has been caught." The news guy spoke

"Well, mystery solved" Eve comments, everything seems to be normal again in mystic falls

Jenna shakes her head "Scum ball. Scum bucket." She curses under her breath, Eve looks at her and frowns

"Who are you talking about?" Elena asks coming down the stairs

"Him." Jenna states gesturing at the tv

Eve and Elena look at the guy on the tv with a confuse look on their faces "The news guy?" Elena asks unsure

"What did he ever do to you? Did he present the news too loudly?" Eve mocks

Jenna rolls her eyes "I know him, is Logan also known as Logan "Scum" Fell." She explains glaring at the Tv "Did your mom ever tell you why I moved away from Mystic Falls?" she asks looking between the twins

Elena laughs "Oh, no way. You and him?" she asks looking at Jenna and them at Logan on the tv screen

Eve shares an amuse look with her twin "you are not really good at this boyfriend thing are you?" Eve asks Jenna, shaking her head in fake disappointment

Jenna glares at her but them nods her head defeated "He's cute." Elena points out looking at Logan

A look of disgust crosses Jenna face "He is not cute." She states while Elena seats at the head of the living room table "There's nothing cute about him." She adds glaring at Logan once again making Evangeline laugh. Jenna squint her eyes at her and turns of the tv getting up and walking next to Elena "What are you doing with that?" she asks seeing Elena take out the contents of a pretty silver box

Eve turns around on the couch to look at them "Oh, you went to pick it up already?" she asks her sister, recognizing the box

Elena nods "I went yesterday and got it from the safe deposit box." She tells her sister while polishing an antique pocket watch "Mom had told Mrs. Lockwood she would loan it to the founder's council for their heritage display." She explains Jenna that was looking between the twins confused

Jenna looks inside the box and picks up a Ring "Is that grandma Beth's wedding ring?" she asks twirling the piece of jewelry in her hand

Elena looks up at her "Originally it was great-great-grandma Mary's wedding ring." She clarifies

Eve makes her way to them while her sister was talking and looks at the ring in her aunts hand, it was a beautiful diamond ring "there are years of love stories in this ring can you imagine?" she ask in awe

Jeremy walks up to them looking the box curiously "How much do you think this stuff is worth? You know, like on eBay?" he asks picking up the pocket watch

"A lot I suppose" Eve answers shrugging

Elena rolls her eyes "You're not gonna find out." She states snatching the watch from Jeremy hand

"That stuff is mom and dad's. You can't just give it away." He says sternly walking to the kitchen

Elena gives another polish to the watch "I'm not giving it away. It's called a loan, Jeremy." She explains with a frustrated sigh

"It's for the founder's council heritage display" Eve clarifies, Jeremy scoffs and opens the fridge ignoring them

The doorbell rings and Elena goes to open the door, after rolling her eyes at her brothers back. Eve looks at the entry expecting her sister to come but she didn't appear so, she got up to see who it was. When she picks in the hall she sees the reason of her sister delay, she was busy sucking the hair out of Stefan lungs.
