The Turning Point - To Bite Or Not To Bite

Leo shakes his head "no" he says running a hand trough his hair. The smell of her blood suddenly being the only thing he could focus on

Eve sighs already expecting that answer from him "Leo, just think about it" she reasons with him "even if Logan is out of the picture there is, at least, one more vampire running around" she points out "and, we have no idea of who could it be" she adds with a concern look "not to mention that there are twenty six vampires stuck on a tomb that I'm sure Damon is still eager to open so, I'm not feeling very safe right now" she says softly

Leo looks away from Eve, walking towards the open window "it's dangerous" he comments while shaking his head

"Why?" she wonders crossing her arms "it's not like you haven't done this before" she points out calmly

Leo turns back to her, maintaining a safe distance between them "not with someone I had a friendship with" he explains "I've already open an exception for you. I don't think this is going to be good for our relationship in the long run" he confesses

Eve tenses a little upon hearing his words, she didn't want to lose him again "why do you say that?" she asks in a low voice

Leo takes a deep breath "you are asking me to feed from you on a regular basis right?" he wonders and she nods her head affirmatively "well, for that to happen I would have to feed you my blood to allow you to recover faster which means that we would be feeding of each other" he explains "do you know how intimate that can get?" he asks locking eyes with her

Eve stares at him for a moment "we'll have to deal with it" she states "for our families" she adds firmly

"No" Leo says again "I find someone else" he offers

Eve takes a deep breath "Yeah, that's a really smart decision" she says with irony in her voice "The council, is on our tail, and you know it. It's not a good time to go around asking people if you can have a free sample of their blood" she points out

Leo stays silent knowing that Eve was right. He was at lost for words and was glad when his phone vibrates on his pocket. He takes it out, turning away from Eve.

She sighs deeply leaning back on her desk when her phone rings as well. She reaches for it on her jacket pocket and is relived when she sees the text from her sister saying that the Logan situation was taking care of and she was giving Stefan a ride home.

A small smile forms on Eve's lips as she puts her phone on her desk and takes of her jacket throwing it on the bed. Leo puts is phone away and locks eyes with Eve again "seems like everything is fine" he comments

"If that's what you want to call it" she says sarcastically. Logan's face comes to her mind and a sad look clouds her expression

"What's going on?" Leo wonders noticing the change on her mood

Eve looks down at her feet "It's just..." She struggles to say the words she wants to say "Logan is probably dead by now" she says sadly "people just keep dying" she adds still not facing Leo

Leo looks at her for a moment, letting her words sink in "I can't help but feel responsible for that" he confesses " once we catch whoever turned Logan me and my brothers will leave Mystic Falls, and you can have you life back" he reassures

Eve scoffs, finally looking at him "I don't want you to leave, Leo" she declares taking a step closer to him "whether you're here or not my life will never be the same after this" she comments, a stern look on her face "I want you where, I need you where" she says taking another step towards him "don't you get it?" she wonders running a hand trough her hair in frustration "I just want you to let me help" she requests "we can do this, together" she declares, the softness returning to her eyes
