Two days were up and todays the day.
i wondered out of the door when the doctor walked in, he knew what i wanted to do first.
he walked down the long hall full of nurses, patients, curtains, injections and all sorts and then We stopped outside a wooden door.
'Take as long as you need ma'am' he told me.
I pushed down the door knob and walked in.
I didn't look up, I just stared at my shoes and shut the door.
I could hear a beeping noise.
Beep Beep Beep.
I knew that it was a life support machine.
I looked up.
I saw him.
And a chair by the side of his bed, I walked over to it and sat down.
He looked so helpless.
So innocent.
His face was bruised and cut.
So were his hands.
I took his hand and pulled it into me and I cried
And cried.
I thought about everything, the fun me and Jason had, the love we shared.
Everything.
'Jase..' I cried.
Beep Beep Beep
'Ple..' I started choking again, I felt a burning pain in my heart.
I cried more but this time I cried silently.
Suddenly the door flung open
'Oh, sorry duck didn't know Mccann had visitors'
I looked up and saw a lady in a nurses uniform with a badge that read the name
'Jessica'
Well Jessica can you leave me alone I thought to myself.
I looked at her and then looked back down and cried silently, I rubbed circles in Jason's hand.
He was so cold.
I didn't hear the door shut so I was eager to see where 'Jessica' had got to
I looked up and saw her.
RUBBING JASON'S FACE!
WHAT NURSE DOES THIS?
'What..what the hell are you doing?' I croaked.
She looked up at me and smiled
'Sorry duck but human contact can improve his well being'
I instantly shot her a look.
She took no notice and carried on touching Jason
Does she not understand the message?
Beeep Beeep Beeeep
The noises went on for longer now.
The doctor then strolled in and patted 'Jessica' on her back.
'Wow, that's improving him a lot' he said
She giggled and looked down.
At my Jason...
Oh I was hating this.
I had to stop her!
'Only have one life and I wanna live it with you' I sang to Jason as I gripped his hand and kissed his cheek.
She looked at me confused.
Yeah I am his girlfriend so leave was what I was trying to get across.
I think she got the message because she left not long after.
I looked down at Jason.
'Wanna dream what you dream, go where you go' I sang.
Jason used to sing me this song everyday before going to bed for the last 2months.
I missed hearing his voice.
Feeling his breath on me.
Feeling his touch.
Hearing his moans and cheesy compliments.
I missed him.
Loads.
More then Loads.
Someone interrupted my thoughts again by knocking on the door.
I strolled over to the door and saw 'Jessica' she really didn't get the message did she?
'What?' I croaked
My voice was really bad and crackly, I sounded like the witch from Snow White.
'I think we got off on the wrong foot love, my name is Jessica and I will be Jas..Mr Mccanns nurse'
I still didn't like her.
I tried to smile but I think it came out more like a straight horse face.
'Its time for visitors to leave though now' she added
