William's POV- March 2016

I watched as Mariana flipped a pancake and glanced at the scrambled eggs that were cooking on the other pan. My dad was not happy when I told him that I was getting to know Mariana. He told me that I could get to know her and call her my girlfriend as well. I knew not to tell him that Mariana and I were seeing each other but we had decided not to label our relation because if I had he would have probably yelled at me. He really liked Mariana stating that she was a beautiful yet incredibly smart young lady. My mom really seemed to like her, and that's when I realized I had strong feelings for her. My dad also made me realize that I could have a long distance relationship, my parents had done it that way and they were still married after 20+ years.

"So what did you want to talk about?"

She placed the plate of food in front of me, and I suddenly did not feel as hungry anymore.

"So I have been thinking about this" I started.

She nodded and took a sip of her drink.

"For a while now actually" I said.

"Well spit it out"

I looked at Mariana and couldn't help but admire her natural beauty. Her hair was down, and in it's natural form. She had no make up on, yet her skin was glowing. Mariana was stunning, but there was more than that to her. She was incredibly smart, and I don't think she realized I knew how smart she was. She was literally a walking jukebox, and didn't care what others thought of her.

"I want to label this relationship" I blurted out.

She looked at me and I couldn't help but frown when I got no reaction from her.

"I have feelings for you, and I was stupid to think not labeling this would prevent them" I admitted.

"I'm only here until May"

This was not going the way I hoped it would.

"You act like technology doesn't exist" I stated.

She nodded.

"When the time comes, and you have to leave I wouldn't mind doing long distance" I said.

Mariana pursed her lips and looked down at the mug she was holding. My phone vibrated on the counter, but I chose not to look at the text. Instead I looked at her waiting for a response or some sort of reaction from her.

"Ok, let's make a compromise"

"I'm listening" I told her.

I reached for a fork and butter knife.

"I think we shouldn't label anything"

I looked at her and she raised an eyebrow.

"For now"

"Why?" I asked.

"I like you William, I do"

I couldn't help but smile at that. It was reassuring, and I hated that she was using it against me.

"I want to enjoy my time here, and once May comes around we could talk about it"

I'm sure I could get her to change her mind by May.

"On one condition" I stated.

She hummed.

"I get to call you Ana" I told her.

She scrunched up her nose. Most of the guys called her either Mariana or Mari. I personally didn't understand why she made that face when I called her Ana. She called me Will, and I didn't mind her calling me that. I liked that she was comfortable enough to call me that.

"I don't get why you don't like that name?" I asked.

"I do, it's just my grandma used to call me that"

She smiled when she noticed my frown growing on my face.

"She's still alive, I just haven't seen her in a while"

I took a bite of the pancake and nodded.

"Ok, you can call me Ana"

"We will talk about this in May" I assured her.

She looked at me.

"Both our feelings must be mutual"

I grinned.

"Babe, are you really stating that you won't fall in love with me?" I joked.

I felt myself relaxing as she laughed.

A/N: So I found a stream of LaLa Land and I'm finally watching it. I like really want to go to the movies to see Logan but I also want to see Beauty and the Beast.
