Part LX

William's POV- February 2017

I smiled at Mariana when I spotted her watching Esme and Auston hug.

"Hey love" I said getting her attention. 

She smiled and I pulled her into a hug. 

"Good game"

I tipped her face up and leaned down. I gave her a quick peck and kissed her forehead as I pulled her into a tight hug.

"I don't want you to go" I admitted.

She hummed lightly and rubbed my bicep.

"We'll see each other in two weeks"

I nodded and she lightly tapped my jaw.

"I need to talk with you"

I felt my heart drop and she shook her head when she saw my facial expression.

"No freaking out, everything is fine. Ok?"

She cupped my face with both her hands and smiled. That's when I noticed I had started shaking.

"Ok?"

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

"Ok" I said once I was able to control my breathing.

She smiled and pecked my lips.

"Where can we get more privacy?" 

I looked around.

"Follow me" I said.

She followed me into the equipment room and closed the door behind her.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

She smiled.

"Nothing is wrong"

"Something's on your mind" I told her.

"Remember I applied for a full time job at the hospital?"

Mariana had applied to that job at the beginning of the month because her professors had recommended her. She was a bit nervous since she thought she wasn't as experienced as most of the people applying.

"I got the job"

I smiled.

"That's great" I stated.

She nodded.

"I'm going to put my two weeks notice" 

"Love, don't feel bad. You just got a job in the profession you want to pursue, this is big" I said.

I cupped her face and gave her a deep kiss.

"I'm so proud of you" I confessed.

She smiled.

"I'd have to work during the summer"

I shrugged.

"I guess I'm coming to LA" I stated.

"You don't have to do that"

"I want to, you'd move across the country if you could and I don't mind being in LA for the summer if it means I get to see you" I answered.

"I love you"

I smiled.

"I love you too" I replied back.

I pulled her into a tight hug.

"I'm sure the communications department will be happy for you" I said.

I kissed her forehead and she looked up at me.

"Happy tears?" I asked when I noticed her eyes gloss up.
