William's POV- December 2016

Mariana stacked the last pancaked on the plate and shut off the stove.

"I think I made a lot of pancakes"

"Nonsense, if anything I'm a bit worried you made to little" I stated as she put three pancakes on my plate.

I reached for the plate with scrambled eggs.

"How are your parents?" I asked.

She pulled her hair up in a ponytail and nodded slowly.

"It looks like my mom is getting her second divorce"

She shrugged lightly like she expected nothing less.

"She cheated on him, so you can't really blame the guy for leaving her"

I nodded.

"What about your dad?" I asked.

"He's planning a wedding"

"You never told me you technically have a step sister" I told her.

"I didn't?"

I shook my head.

"Her name is Sophia and she's actually dating Adrian"

I figured that out by stalking her Instagram.

"She's a sophomore at UCLA and she's actually on the gymnastics team"

"That's pretty cool" I told her.

She nodded.

"She used to be a top elite gymnast, but her coach didn't pace her well. She got injured and she actually thought about quitting"

"That sucks, she obviously didn't quit though" I stated.

"She retired from elite and gave herself a break"

I nodded.

"That's good that she was able to come back, most people try to make a come back and never return" I told her.

Mariana nodded and turned to look at the hall when she heard footsteps. A blonde made her way out of the hallway quietly completely unaware that someone was in the kitchen.

"Hey Jan"

I chuckled as the blonde jumped and looked at Mariana. She let out a sigh of relief when she saw Mariana.

"Oh my god, you scared me!"

Mariana laughed.

"Were you just leaving without saying hello?"

Kappy's one night stand laughed.

"I didn't even know you were in town Mari"

Mariana nodded.

"Until Thursday"

The blonde nodded and glanced at me.

"Well I hope we have time to catch up, same number?"

"Yes, same number"

Kappy's one night stand fixed her jacket and smiled.

"Alright, well I should head out"

"You don't want breakfast?" I asked her.

I wanted Kappy to come in and see us having breakfast with his one night stand.

"No, I should go. I technically wasn't supposed to be out last night, much less be drinking. I've got a killer hangover and I have work in an hour"
