Part XXVIII

William's POV- May 2016

"Are you coming in?"

I nodded and jogged over to the door.

"Thanks" I told the guy.

He gave me a nod and smiled as he opened the other door where as I walked up the stairs.

"Is Mariana in her room already?"

"I hope so" I admitted.

She had a final review for the World History class she was taking.

"I actually need her notes, so I'll go up with you"

I nodded and we made my way upstairs. 

"Does Jake still give you trouble?"

"Nah, he learned to mind his own business" I said.

He laughed.

"I never got your name" I told him.

"I'm Fernando"

He had an accent so I was going to take a wild guess and say he was studying abroad as well.

"William" I introduced myself.

We shook hands and he chuckled.

"Well it was nice meeting you and knowing you"

I knocked on the door to Mariana and Ellie's room. 

"Coming!"

The door opened and Mariana smiled at both of us.

"Come on in, both of you. Let me get you my notes"

I took a seat on her bed as she made her way to her desk.

"Are you done studying?"

Mariana nodded as she pulled out two notebooks from her backpack.

"Yeah, there's no use to looking through my notes anymore. I either know the material or I don't"

She set one on the desk and looked at Fernando who was watching Ellie who was in her own little world.

"She's been shading in her sketches all day"

He hummed.

"That's cool"

He took the notebook from Mariana.

"Just give it to me tomorrow before the final"

He nodded.

"Alright, well it was nice to see you William"

I nodded.

"You too man" I said.

He pointed at Mariana as he opened the door.

"I will see you tomorrow"

With that he left.

"How do you know Fernando?"

I looked at Mariana and smiled as I began to take off my jacket.

"He always holds the door open for me" I explained.

I frowned when I realized Mariana's part of the room was completely packed up.

"This wasn't like this yesterday" I stated.

She smiled and set my jacket on her chair.

"During my breaks I just packed up some stuff"

"You're excited to go home" I said.
