"Girlfriend, huh?" Gunner mumbled under his breath, smiling. He recalled the shocked expression on Lamees's face when the nurse had said that and he had felt the sudden urge to go and pinch her cheeks. She was adorable.

Lamees was one of those shy and timid people that you just wanted to protect.

It was a good thing that she wasn't hurt bad. But Gunner wondered why she was near the basketball court in the first place. Maybe she was simply passing by.

Or maybe she had been watching him...

That thought excited him.
