She attacked the page with an eraser, rubbing away all traces of Gunner that she had created in her journal.
She blinked back her tears as she watched him disappear from the page. Her body ached and her fingers, clutching the eraser, hurt. It felt as though she was tearing herself away from him and erasing him from her life. She could never draw him again. She shouldn't draw him again, not after how far things had gotten.
She allowed a few tears to slip down her cheeks as she paused, looking at Gunner's remaining left eye and part of his hair.
"Goodbye," she whispered, choking on the word as she erased that too.
