He found her at lunch the next day too and this time, when Lamees looked up and saw him, she actually smiled wide. He grinned at her and walked towards her table. She was wearing a grey scarf today and it went really well with her dazzling smile and her white shirt and black trousers. He noticed that she wore a lot of neutral colors but wasn't afraid to try and add a bit of a colorful splash every now and then.
"How many scarves do you own?"
She closed her book at his question and smiled again. "You wouldn't believe me, if I told you."
"Try me."
"About forty six."
His eyes widened. "Forty six scarves?"
"Told you that you wouldn't believe me."
"Wow. I am definitely not getting you a scarf for your birthday or for any other occasion, for that matter."
She giggled at the person who made her days brighter with just a silly joke or his unexpected hearty laughs.
