As she sat there in class, doodling in her notebook, Lamees wondered if she had been avoiding Gunner.

She didn't think that 'avoiding' was the exact word for it but then again, what would you call it?

Just this morning, she had spotted Gunner talking to someone in the hallway and she had turned around and had taken the long way around to get to her class.

She sighed softly. It wasn't that she didn't want to see or talk to him again, but every time she looked at him, she would recall when he had held her and that thought alone would make her turn scarlet and she couldn't bring herself to face him.

The bell signaling the end of the period, startled her when it rang and she started packing up her things, only to realize that her next class was literature.

She couldn't avoid him forever.
