Her heart sped up as soon as she saw him walk through the doors.

He was wearing a black jersey with his surname, Kane on the back of the shirt along with black shorts that came a little below his knees.

She tried not to stare so much but it was hard to tear her eyes away.

Upon a closer look, she could see the tension in his slightly stiff shoulders. Gunner stretched his exposed arms a couple of times and glanced up around the crowd. He seemed to be searching for someone and once again, Lamees's heart threatened to beat out of her chest.

After a few seconds of searching but still not seeing her, Lamees slowly raised an uncertain hand. He caught the movement from the corner of his eye and looked in her direction.

She almost gasped when the green eyes found her amongst the crowd and twinkled. He gave her a quick smile before turning away to join his teammates.

Lamees slowly brought her hand down, unable to control the smile on her face.
