When Sugawara was in junior high, he brought packed lunches to school and ate inside the classroom peacefully until one day, his classmates started playing pranks on him for some unkown reason.
Whenever he would be eating, they would always toss worms into his lunch, and he almost accidentally ingested one.
He probably got mad at everyone for the first time in all his junior highschool days, making everyone fear him because he was much too terrifying when he lost his temper.
To this day, he never eats infront of other people again (except for the barbeque) in fear of the fact that the events would happen to him again.
For some unkown reason, the only person who knows this at the moment is Tsukishima. Well, only until now, that is.
