So the first time they met was during the first training camp.
Kiyoko found Akaashi really reliable and all of a teammate so she started to feel a sense of admiration towards Fukurodani's setter.
And unlike the MOST (MOST, okay? MOST) of the other kids in the volleyball teams, he is actually responsible enough to know what is right and what is wrong and disciplined much to perform the required tasks.
He is also-- wait, you know, fork this. We all know that Akaashi is the embodiment of perfection so sssHush.
Anyways.
That's where it started.
It began as a simple sense of idolization as Kiyoko had also managed to pick a few useful traits up from Akaashi for her manager work, which grew into SOMEEETHING greater.
She secretly was watching the setter play when they went up against an opposing team instead of observing those on her own school, to which she scolds herself mentally from time to time.
No one noticed this (OR NOT) because she knew how to hide her emotions (BUT STILL), so they went on with their daily lives without thinking of anything unnecessary and useless (OH REALLY).
At the last day, Shimizu met up with the said male and thanked him for playing with Karasuno, to which Akaashi replied to with some... well... Akaashi-ish words (what).
Kiyoko ended up feeling less and less distant towards him and you know, that's where it aaall came to a fleeting tornado of emotions in the beloved manager's head.
Up to this day, she stalks *cough* his social media accounts such as Facebook and Instagram and even discovered the fact that he also has a Tumblr for unkown reasons. He blogs about no specific stuff but the posts on his page contain volleyball of course, health, some manga and other things.
Kiyoko discovers they have the same interests.
So she starts hoping.
Hoping.
Hoooping.
For the day that this Akaashi Keiji would pay notice to her and that he would be amazed by their similarities and all of that cheesy (sorry) cheeses, then end up developing the same feelings for her.
And up to this day...

And she fangirls over it for 9999 minutes raised to the power of infinity whenever she's alone.
Or rather, when she THINKS she's alone.
And Akaashi probably knows.
Because one of the people who probably noticed immediately had started to leak the information out to several people, including Akaashi, himself.
