"...(F/n)! (F/n)!" Her mothers voice interrupted her from her pleasant slumber, and the ace let out a small groan, opening her eyes.

"Whhhaaaat?" She muttered, sitting upright lazily. Her cat, who'd snuck into her room and slept with her that night, meowed a complaint at the shift, getting up and scampering off.

"Hajime's here to pick you up today along with his friend. You still have that cold and you made the boys concerned." Her mother said, fixing the girls hair.

(F/n) pushed her hands away. "Tell them to go away. I'm fine."

"You're clearly not. You're losing your voice. Now get ready or you'll be late." With that, her mom departed from her room.

Getting ready was simple enough. Brush hair and teeth, wash face, put on uniform, bada-bing bada-boom, done. She grabbed her bag and walked downstairs, still half asleep.

"You look horrible." Iwaizumi commented, who was sitting at the dining room table and munching on a cookie.

(F/n) flipped him the bird, completely missing the fact that Oikawa was sitting right next to the male ace. "Good morning to you too, Hajime."

(F/n) realized that her mom was right. Her voice was bad. She let out a sigh, grabbing an apple from the fruit bowl and chomping down on it, slipping on her shoes.

"Hello, (F/n)-chan!" Oikawa sounded optimistic as per usual.

"Why are you in my house?" The female ace asked, rubbing her eyes with her free hand. Oikawa felt himself blush slightly at how cute a sleepy (F/n) was. He was slightly hurt by her comment, though.

"Chill, man." Iwaizumi muttered with a mouthful of crumbs. "I asked him to join me."

An irk mark appeared on the girl's forehead. "Why?"

"I wanted him to."

"You're the worst liar." She pointed out. "I don't think we can be cousins anymore, Hajime."

"Shut up. Lets get going." He stood up from the table and dragged Oikawa up with him. She rolled her eyes, grabbing her keys and pushing past the boys, walking out of the house muttering about how 'horrible they were'.

The two boys shared a glance, and Iwa shrugged. "She's not a morning person."

"Thanks for pointing that out, Iwa-chan."

"Dude, I dare you to go flirt with (F/n) right now." Makki said.

"Ah-wha-?" Oikawa looked baffled.

Matsun nodded. "Five bucks says you'll get her!"

Iwaizumi just rolled his eyes at their child play. Sure, he was her cousin, more like brother due to how close they were, and he would protect her at all costs, but honestly, she could protect herself. He's never seen her cry once. Except for that time a wasp stung her. He'd never let her live that down.

And, believe it or not, he trusted Oikawa. In ways. Oikawa seemed smart enough that saying the wrong thing could get him in a bad position really quickly.

And if he messed up, Iwa would beat him to a pulp. Simple as that.

Oikawa sucked in a deep breath. "Okay! I'll do it!" He walked confidently up towards the third year ace, who was flipping through a pamphlet with furrowed eyebrows. "Hi–"

"Bye." She briskly walked past him without another word, folding the pamphlet and stuffing it in her pocket.

Oikawa stood there like a confused dog for a moment, before scrambling after her. "(F/n)-chan!" He whined, catching up and walking next to her.

The girl got several dirty looks from his fangirls, and she cringed internally. At this point, all she thought that kept this guys team going was cheers from pretty girls. "What is it?" She frowned at him.

"Well, I-um-I was wondering if you wanted to come and watch practice?"

A shadow fell over the three boy's heads. That was not flirting.

"What?" (F/n) stopped in her tracks, and blinked at him. "Repeat that, I don't know if I heard right."

"Well, n-nevermind?"

"Wait, wait," She said with a small laugh. "Is Oikawa, the Grand King of the volleyball court, stooping low enough to ask the captain of another team to come watch him practice with his team? Are you guys that bad?"

"Don't take it the wrong way!" Oikawa huffed, stomping his foot.

"Then are you planning on showing off?" She knew that she was getting under his skin, which she was aiming to do in the first place.

"So rude, (F/n)-chan!"

"Oh, here comes some of the pack." Makki muttered, nodding towards Tengan and Iha, who were walking towards the two captains. Iwaizumi and Matsun shivered, as they knew what happened to Oikawa the day before. Tengan was currently attempting to balance a volleyball on her head, which she was doing quite well.

Oikawa noticed them as easily as Makki did, and his eyes widened. "Just think about it, okay, (F/n)-chan?" And with that, he went cowering back to his friends.

"You literally charm every girl you see, Trashykawa. What's the difference now?" Iwaizumi frowned at his friend.

"I-I don't know! I just... get all fumbly around her?" The setter tried to explain his feelings, which he failed miserably at.

"Dude, you have a crush. You just admitted that you have a crush on the ace captain of the girls volleyball team." Makki stated, sweatdropping.

"Oikawa, I thought you were gay." Matsun added.

"I AM NOT!" Oikawa shouted, then huffed, storming away.

"I think Trash is mad." Tengan whispered, and (F/n) and Iha nodded in agreement.
