Sapphire was at peace, lost in the moment she was currently in, the smell of different dishes cooking within in the kitchen, the warmth of the man she was slowly falling in love with burning through her blanket and clothes to her skin. The talk about the homemade food that was defrosting. It was almost as if they all lived a normal life as if there were no such thing as demons or werewolves.

She felt the circles that Dominic was gently drawing on her back to both sooth her and warm her up. "You feeling a little warmer now?" his soft voice caused her to open her eyes to see him staring.

She blushes just a little, "Yeah much warmer thank you." She couldn't help but feel nervous around him, she wondered what he thought of her, this made her feel like he loved her, but did he? She didn't really know, she had never been in a relationship before. It felt like a relationship.

Dominic brings his lips to her forehead, leaving a light kiss that was when he felt eyes on them. He turned to see who it was. He turned his head to look at the opposite side of the table to see Jackson watching them with a little smile on his face.

Jackson couldn't help but be happy about how Sapphire looks so peaceful on Dominic's lap, she looks as if nothing could ever hurt her. As if she lived a normal life. As if. The way she just had her head rested with her eyes closed as if she wished all of the pain and darkness would disappear if she kept them closed long enough. Maybe she was just cherishing the moment she was having right now. He didn't know but it was beautiful to watch.

Jackson looks away when he sees Dominic turn to look at him, though he looked out of the corner of his eye to see Dominic resting his head gently on top of Sapphire's head. He never thought he would approve anyone going out with his sister but when he looked them, how suited they were for each other, he could not interfere. He hoped after all of the chaos they would be able to live a good normal life.

Aaron too was watching Dominic and Sapphire, he had never seen her look peaceful than she did when she was in his arms, they looked like they were made for each other, no matter what happens around them he was sure that they would stay together.

Luna, on the other hand, was too busy cooking everyone's meals to notice what was going on, after half an hour she cheers, "Dinners ready!"

Sapphire was about to move back into her chair but Dominic wraps his arms around her, just looking at her through pleading looking eyes, he didn't want her to get up, he liked her close, the hold made it feel like everything would be ok.

She looks up at him, looking into the pleading eyes that shone back at her, she answers the unasked question with a simple nod.

Luna had to suppress getting excited about how cute they looked together, to distract herself she just serves all the dishes handing them out; placing Sapphire's and Dominic's on the table in front of them, same with Jackson.

Sapphire tries to wriggle her arms out of the blanket which causes Dominic to shake his head, "Keep warm, I'll feed you." he softly breathes each word, he momentarily forgot that the room was full of her friends and family.

Luna couldn't suppress the "Aww that's so cute." this time. Which caused everyone except Sapphire and Dominic who were too busy staring at each other. It looked like they were having a silent debate with each other as if they had been together for years.

Dominic seems to win their debate because he reaches for the fork and starts feeding her, they end up using the same fork so it would be easier for Dominic. He would feed Sapphire then take a forkful for himself. When they had nearly finished their dinner Sapphire bites her lip chuckling softly as she sees some chilli Con Carne on his chin.
