Sheol is a Knight of Hell, one of the oldest and most powerful demons that has existed. She was handpicked by Lucifer, trained by Cain, and became her own self-fulfilling prophecy. It was from her that the personification of Babylon came to exist, where the Whore of Babylon took her orders from. Sheol was all dark kaleidoscope, all shadow multifaceted, all black diamond.
She fights against Abaddon, wanting to rule Hell, but will side with the Winchester's because she hadn't used her powers in so long and was weak. Instead of flirting with Dean, she flirts with Sam because he looks like an innocent soul that can be so easily corrupted with a kiss from her lips. She teases him a low with that, enjoys how he seems both amused and scared of her.
She is every inch a demon, desiring her indulgences, her blood-lust, her seductions—her ambitions. She wants to dethrone the current King of Hell, Crowley, and see a woman Devil recreate the world in her image. On the other hand, she has a big heart for a demon, which becomes a weakness. She is respectful of her partners, and even cherishes love and sex; these things that foster connection between bodies and spirits. Sheol goes all in, all passion.
But, she was taught that the Latin root for passion is pati—it does not mean to flow with exuberance, it means to suffer.
