SUMMARY |

Cecilia Muccio knew two things: she was adopted and she was not human.

Not once did she desire to search for her birth parents, but the curiosity gets the best of her after the car accident that killed someone. First, she survived it. Second, the following week, during the full moon, she turns into a wolf and wrecks havoc to the house.

The morning after, she wakes up in the forest behind her house. It frightens her. For the following days, she stays in her room and researches everything about werewolves. And her biological family. From mythological books, to YA, to non-fiction—anything that could give her information about who she really was.

The search for her biological family leads her to New Orleans. There, she meets a pack of werewolves that take her in with warm arms, as if she were actually part of their pack. And then, the search leads her to the Mikaelson's, the Original vampires.

Cecilia arrives in New Orleans lost and confused, wondering why the hell would werewolves be in a city and not somewhere that it's safe. The wreck she caused in her house still haunts her, because she imagines what would have happened if her parents had been there.

She walks around New Orleans until she arrives at a bar. A blonde girl takes her order, and then decides to psychoanalyse her because that's what she does. Quietly, she asks if anything happened to her, supernaturally. It's there where Cecilia confides in her, because she quickly confides in anyone she meets, and asks her about werewolves. The girl, knowing a bit, tells her to "try the Bayou."

The following day, she arrives in the Bayou to see a lot of people in an encampment. The first person to come to her, a tall and burly man, welcomes her with caution. She didn't know if it was some seven sense, or some strange thing, but she immediately knew that he was a werewolf. It was like some sense of loyalty, some knowing. And he her.

He introduces himself as Jackson, and welcomes her with open arms. They move to the small shack and begin to talk, about how she got there and how she is and why. Since she trusts people too much, she tells him everything about her. About the night she accidentally killed someone, about the nights she became a wolf, about the destroyed house, about being alone for years and now knowing what to do.

Jackson tells her everything she needs to know about werewolves, and everything that is supernatural. And then he stops, sensing that the connection to her is far more stronger than any other werewolf. He asks her to show her the back of his shoulder. She's like "dude, wtf?" and he's like "no, dude, not like that." Slowly, she does, and then he's like "omfg, bro."

A few days later, Hayley appears. Jackson takes her to the barn, where Cecilia was already helping clean in. Cecilia stops when she sees the younger girl, and almost falls back. She stops herself and quickly stands, introducing herself. That's when Hayley looks at Jackson in surprise and asks, "what the hell is happening?" She brings out the family books, and above her name she sees the name "Vivien Labonair," her sister.

It's a lot for the both of them to handle, so their first conversation is awkward. They try to talk to each other about their past, the families that adopted them and how they came to break the curse. Cecilia is still feeling strange in having a sister, or if she's actually a sister.

Elijah arrives then, because he's worried about Hayley. There, he meets the eldest Labonair child, or Cecilia Muccio. There's an instant connection between them, and it only grows as they both care about helping Hayley and the child be safe.

TIPS |
• She is two years older than Hayley.
• Cecilia was adopted after Hayley was.
• The Muccio's are an Italian-American family with lots of money, so Cecilia had a pretty decent life. Her parents still send money to her bank account, so she uses that to help the pack survive in the Bayou.
• Since she is the oldest, she is the one that is supposed to marry Jackson. But, she decides to let Hayley and Jackson continue, since they have known each other the longest and she thinks Hayley is a better werewolf than she is.
• Hayley sort of resents her because she had a careful life while she had to jump from foster family to foster family, because no one wanted her. Cecilia doesn't know, or what to say, because Hayley is right. She had a privileged life; she travelled across the globe and her parents still send her money.
• Cecilia and Elijah get close by helping Hayley, but speaking about her. He knows her better than she, so she asks him about Hayley and what she can do to be a better sister.
• She will do everything and anything for the pack, for the people that took her in even though she thinks she's a monster.
