(MAPLELEAF'S POV)
I tried to forget the conversation the rest of the day until it was time for the gathering.
"Come on Mapleleaf! It's time for the gathering!" Rosecloud purred.
"I'm coming" I mumbled, my conversation with Thornstar still on my mind.
I stepped quietly across the sand covered grass, looking at my paws as they skimmed over the sand.
I wasn't looking where I was going and bumped into Gorsehunt.
"Watch it!" He hissed angrily.
"S-Sorry..." I mumbled.
I looked up to see where we held the gatherings. Us cats called it the clearing though. Four big trees grew in front of Desertclan and I saw that Iceclan had already arrived. I stepped quickly along with the group into the clearing and see the tree stump in the middle.
"Wow" Rosecloud gasped.
"You've seen it before silly!" I purred at Rosecloud.
"Hehe! I know but it still looks as beautiful as ever" She murmured her gaze switching from each huge tree.
"Mapleleaf!" I heard a voice call my name.
And little did I know that this gathering would be the best gathering in my whole life...
