it was final, my father wasn't here with us anymore so i thought id be the last to move out even though Mary insisted id stay and that i didn't have to leave.."this is your home too Vanessa, he bought it for the both of you.." she told me as i was packing my things, "but hes not here anymore...besides he left it to you....not me" i zipped up my things and headed out the door. my father made a will in the last couple of months before his death, he left a some of money to Jim, but Jim only wanted to stay at Garden Lodge but it couldn't be like that, my fathers bodyguard Terry was left a some amount of money, and Mary was left a some amount of money and my father left her with Garden Lodge, with me he left me his music, i was going to be in charge, i was in command, i figured i could make so much music with the music he left behind and play with the last sessions he did before he left. he left me his belongings like his clothes (which i put all his well known outfits he wore on tour in a museum in Munich)

i went with the idea my dad suggested and stepped into the limelight behind and in front of the camera behind and in front of the mic. i organized a tribute for my father only 5 months after his death, people thought it was too soon for me to do it but i did it because something in me told me it was the right thing to do for him. we all gathered together (my uncles and i) and decided this was going to make sure the fans some closure and peace with my father passing. as everyone came and made it to the show, the person i wanted here the most was my dad, that's all i wanted here with me but i couldn't have it like that. i put on a brave face and smiled through all this all

with the stadium audience ranging from 72,000+  and 76 countries around the world tuning in an audience of 1 billion viewers, I couldn't be more proud of what my father has accomplished in this world and his time being here on earth. So many people walked up to me and let me know how much of an impact my father and the band Queen let alone has made their life so much brighter and clearer💘

it was a huge success and would have made my father very much proud.
