It was finally a new year forget that last year, I've told myself new year new me, new challenges.

I was one of the top models at the time for America and England, it was goal and I set it. I decided to take a months break and go on vacation so as in vacation I mean seeing my family in England, I went to my uncle John's house in Putney in Southwest London. I figured it was him I needed to see because at the same time my uncle Brian May was in Italy touring with my uncle Roger Taylor. So I wanted to catch up with my uncle John. I couldn't wait to see him, I knocked really hard so someone could open the door for me as expected Michael the oldest of my uncles son was there to open the door for me, he was the 2nd oldest out of the bands kids at 27 he looked just like my uncle John, I raised Michael and seen him when he was first brought into this world, he looked like my uncle but with brown shirt hair and green eyes like his mother Victoria, but me and my aunt Victoria were never really close for some reason I don't know why. But never the less I was welcomed in as usually I gave them all a huge hug, we watched the weekly game shows and all of my other cousins showed me around, as my aunt was preparing for dinner my uncle and I made our way into his very own room for himself and when he'd want to work on his bass guitar, this time he was working on building his very own bass guitar and putting it in a museum for Queen soon in Munich. We were always close my uncle John and I for some reason he was my fathers very close friend and I will always know that he was affected the most if his passing because simply no other person guided him like my dad did, more like a father figure if you ask me, "I'm planning on doing something this year, and it's quiet the change.." he told me as he sat down on his chair "like what, moving?" He glanced from the couch beside him, "no not that" he smirked "but I wish, we are all really settled here" I laughed "I know but it's a good guess."
"I want to retire, Vanessa" I looked over to him and said "like from Queen or for good?" He started to fidget his fingers and sad "for good, I suppose" I didn't really know what to think, I guess you can say I couldn't say anything at all, "this is sudden and sad news uncle" I didn't really expect this from him "I was contemplating about this, and your father and I decided on this.." I interrupted him "wait you've talked about this to him??" He smiled and said "just before passing the last time I saw him I asked permission and he approved, I got his blessing...there are a lot of things we've talked about that are private between us, which are engraved in my memory" I got up and told him what ever he was decided to do was totally up to him and I wish him the best in life, my uncle knew it wasn't going to be the same without my father around he knew that without my dad that Queen just wasn't Queen sadly.
As I parted ways with the Deacons that day, I sobbed because life without him was something I couldn't bare, but knowing they aren't leaving my life was a relief but I had to respect my uncles wishes he wanted to be there for my cousins he wanted to watch them grow and grow older with my aunt Victoria knowing that he asked my father before passing and now knowing he approved made me so very relieved, I love you uncle John💘
