"Hey Y/n, can you go to the store quickly and buy my groceries? I'm very busy" Mum says.
"I can't" I say.
"Why not?" She asks.
"I'm busy too" I reply.
"Tom-" Mum starts.
"Muggles" he says before shivering.
"Please Y/n" Mum says.
"Ok, how long will it take?" I ask.
"Only as long as you make it, here is the list" mum said handing me a paper.
It has at least 200 things squashed onto that small piece of parchment.
I go to decline the offer again but mum cuts me off.
"I'll give you 15 galleons!" Mum says.
"Really?" I ask surprised.
"Nope, but I'll give you 5" she said.
"Fine" I reply sighing.
"But Tom, you're coming with me" I say.
"Why?" He asks annoyed.
"Because I don't know where these isles are at the shops and there are like, 57 different isles" I explain.
"So? I don't know where they are either" Tom states.
"Who cares, at least we can look together" I say.
"Ok, but lets make this trip quick and easy" He said.

I walk into Coles (A/n: Coles is one of the most popular supermarkets in Australia so sorry if you don't know it).
"Ok, what's first?" I ask Tom.
He looks down at the paper and back at me.
"Bread" he says.
"Which one?" I ask, inspecting the different types of bread.
"It doesn't say." Tom replies shrugging.
"Just get whole meal."
I put a loaf of bread into the trolley.

After around 20 more items, I ask how many more we have to go.
"Around another 15 more items" he says counting them.
"Actually, we have 30 more to go" Tom said.
"How many things do my parents need?"

Time went so fast besides the 10 minutes we spent looking for the peanut butter, the 5 minutes looking for cookies, 15 minutes for the rice and another 9 looking for the vanilla yogurt.
We were now waiting in the long line at cash register 3. Apparently all the other stations were closed...
"Oh my god Tom!" I gasp.
"What's wring?! Are you ok, love?" He asks, alarmed.
"We forgot the milk!" I say.
"Stay here, don't worry about it, I'll go get it." He says.
After a minute or so, I get a text.

Hey Y/n, do you know if they need skim?
Or do they get full cream?

I have no idea
Just get any.

Ok skim it is!

Oh wait!
Dad doesn't like skim, get full cream!

Tom comes back a few minutes later with a full cream milk carton.
"Your parents are so confusing, they need to be more specific!" Tom says, placing it in the mountain of trolley items.
After 5 minutes of waiting, we loose our patience and go to the self serve registers.
I scan the bread.
"Insufficient scanning speed" it says. I try again.
"Please try scanning a little bit faster"
"Here let me try" Tom says. I hand him the bread.
"Insufficient scanning speed" it buzzes.
He tries again but it doesn't work.
We scan it one more time and it finally lets us scan it.
"Please place the item in the bagging are." The machine says, we replace it into the bag as it was picking up its weight.
"Unrecognised item in the bagging area" it says. Tom and I groan and ask for help from the shop assistant.

"Mum! I got you your shopping, happy?" I ask.
She peers into the grocery bags.
"Pay up those 5 galleons you owe me" I said.
"Umm, I can't quite do that actually" she says.
"Why?" I ask.
"You got whole meal instead of raisin bread, chocolate cookies instead of vanilla, you forgot the chocolate milk, eggs, lettuce and chicken! You also bought me plain dough nuts instead of iced, brown rice instead of white and green apples instead of red" she states.
"I can't pay you for that kind of service"
"Well you didn't specify the specific type of your items so I got you any" I say.
"I guess I could give you 2 galleons" she says.
"Hmf" I say crossing my arms.

Later that day. Tom and I were in the living room. We were both reading books.
"Hey Tom" I say.
"Yes" he replays.
"Let's never go to the muggle grocery store again" I said.
"Agreed"
