It's as if the life is drained out of me, like I'm living without blood, like I'm living without air.
The desperation claws at my shoulders, tearing my skin apart, ripping at the bubblegum pink flesh to reveal bone.

Something, is missing. I am lost, broken, without it.
The air is thin and icy, and my fingertips are inked blue. My ankles wobble and I stumble around waiting for them to break.

I'm gripping at the cement, placing myself beside Barry who holds HR's limp body in his arms.

I knew it was him.
So why didn't I stop him?
