All was going well. The guys were living their lives in peace. I was glad. They all had smiles plastered on their faces. They weren't as paranoid or stressed. Everything seemed right.
"(Y/n)," Evan called, "can we talk?" He asked.
I followed Evan to his room. He shut the door behind me. I felt nervous but it couldn't have been anything bad. We both stood there for a while in silence.
"What did you want to talk about?" I asked trying to break the silence.
"Right, um..." He seemed nervous.
"Oh, no. Are you going to kick me out again?" I said jokingly. His eyes widened but quickly turned into a smile.
His smile... it's so charming.
"No, that's not what I was going to say. I'm not making that mistake twice," Evan said. My heart fluttered at his words. "I think I made all the right choices but there's still something missing," he came closer to me.
"What do you mean?" I asked nervously. I walked backwards until my back hit the wall. His hands were on either side of my head.
"You're not mine, yet," Evan said. He pressed his lips against mine. I felt his hands wrap around my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. He started placing small kisses on my neck and jawline.
"That's because you haven't asked me to be yours, yet," I said in a low-raspy voice.
"Then, will you be mine?" He asked in a whisper, his breathe tickling my ear.
There was a sudden knock on the door before I could answer. The timing is always impeccable.
"What?!" Evan shouted at the door making me laugh at his clear irritation.
"Um, I was just gonna say the pizza's here," Brock said slightly muffled by the door.
"Sorry, we'll be right out," Evan said.
"My answer's no, by the way," I said. He seemed confused. Did he seriously already forget? "About being yours."
His eyes widened in surprise. "What?" He asked quietly.
"We haven't even gone on a date," I said as I felt my face heat up from slight embarrassment.
Evan's face softened. "You're right. Let's go," he said with a smile.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"On a date, duh," Evan said.
"But the pizza..." I said slightly disappointed.
He grabbed my hand and dragged me outside and into the car. The guys looked at us funny. "Can I have your slice of pizza, then?" Lui shouted after us. Evan nodded towards him.
Evan opened the door for me to enter and he went around the car. He turned the engine on drove off into the street.
"So, where is this 'date' happening," I asked.
"I don't know," he said with no worry at all.
"Do you even know where we're going?"
"Nope," he said popping the 'p'. "Just enjoy the ride."
I looked out the window. All I saw was green everywhere. There were only a few houses in the distance. There was trees and tall grass. There were also flowers blooming. It was beautiful.
"Evan, pull over," I said. He looked at me confusingly but he still pulled over.
I got out the car and started walking in the tall grass. Small bugs were flying around and the wind was making the flowers and grass sway. It was beautiful.
