I stood in front my father as I kept my gaze on the floor while he stared at me, giving me death glares.
"You know why we are here, don't you, Jungkook?" He asked with a calm tone.
"Yes, father." I nodded but didn't avert my gaze from the floor which was made of rock.
"I thought I made myself clear when I said to steal Yeona's heart without any problems, correct?"
"Yes, father." I replied again and heard faint footsteps fading away but I chose to ignore it.
"Yet, she's the one that stole your heart." He pointed at me and clenched his jaw.
I gulped and stay silent.
"Yeona and her parents are the enemies, Jungkook. I ordered you to break her! Instead you disobeyed me and fell in love with our enemy!" He yelled and slammed his fist on the desk.
I flinched at his tone and finally looked up at him "Yeona did nothing wrong! It was her kingdom! She takes no role in what happened to us. Just because her parents are cruel doesn't mean she is!" I fired back, already knowing that he wouldn't be happy by the tone I used towards him, but I didn't care as I continued,
