Song: Jason Walker - Down

My thoughts took over me, while I absentmindedly walked along corridors of the manor. I just wanted to go home, I was not nothing special and they obviously made a mistake in choosing me.

"Denial something you use very often", my voice noted, practically rolling its eyes.

I hated it here

"No you're just mad because you can't act like a wild disaster and that they're actually teaching you to grow up and stop acting like a child here", my conscience argued.

I don't want to grow up, I fired back.

"Too bad", the voice drifted away.

The day was probably minutes from being night, the lavender sky now a very dark purple. The house felt extremely cold today and boring. I would give anything to go out and have some fun, but unfortunately I'm on house arrest. Everyone has been keeping an eye on me for the past two days, even the damn house servants. The worst part was I didn't know when the house arrest would end and feeling like you were always being watched and knowing your hair raising feeling was right was pretty creepy.

"I can't take this!"

I stopped, hearing the angered voice. Looking around, I noticed I was in the gray corridor. Yes, I had colored coated the corridors depending on which color stood out the most. In the gray corridors were mainly offices and business rooms. And the angered, baritone voice was easy to identify.

Zotar.

"Zotar give her a chance!" The light, but strong voice was Harmony's.

"No, she is an insult to our people have you not realized I had to put her on house arrest to put a leash on her", my mouth dropped from the venom and hatefulness in his words. Knowing it was me he was talking about made the shock hurt just a little bit more, like pouring acids on my wounds.

"Zo-", Harmony was cut off.

"Just listen. She is despicable, rude, disgraceful, and completely immature. She tried to attack Ingel, did I tell you that?!"

"She's awakening Zotar. Her moods are all over the place and though she may be able to control them sometimes, the rest of the times her moods changes without warning and-"

Her husband cut her off again. "When I was awakening, I knew how to keep my emotions under control . . ." This time it was Harmony cutting him off.

"She didn't have that type of foundation like you did! She didn't even know she was Nobellian till she was brought here!" Harmony's voice had raised a little higher and I could tell she was probably on the verge of slapping some sense into her husband. Knowing that someone was still on my side, when the rest of world seemed to shun me warmed my heart a little bit. Even Mist seemed to have distanced herself from me the past few days, barely speaking a word to me and keeping herself closed off. My best friend in the house had almost completely vanished, especially when I needed her. In this place of the unknown I didn't feel so alone anymore hearing Harmony sticking up for me.

"She  been in two fights, got my sons in the Eastern Daily, negatively if I might add, has caused problems in school, and has even made me send King Senira's daughter home twice. All because of things Avril had provoked. She'll never be able to save this nation. She acts atrocious and completely intolerant. She's vile in my opinion and I'm giving up on her!" His words deadpanned in the air. And I looked at the ground, feeling my shoulders drooped.

Nothing hurt more than when someone gave up on you.

Through out my life, many people have gave up on me and every time the feeling of it stung just a little bit more. I wanted to feel numb to his words, but I couldn't.
