The Bet

Clarke sat her bag down next to her hotel bed. She'd been the first to arrive. As she unpacked her things, she thought about how there was only three shows left of the tour. She stopped for a moment to let her mind wander before taking a seat on the bed and rubbed her aching feet. Standing for that long every night was pretty tough, she could only image how Janet and the dancers felt. The door opened and Brylee walked in.

"Hey roomie. Jesus!" She said. "This room is crazy!" She said letting her bags fall to the ground.

After getting settled in and cleaned up, they met up in the common area

After getting settled in and cleaned up, they met up in the common area. Brylee took a seat on the couch and flipped on the television, while Clarke looked through the fridge. It was already stocked with food for them.

"Are you hungry?" Clarke yelled over at Brylee.

"Not yet, but I will be soon." She said holding up a joint in her hand. Clarke quickly came from around the counter.

"Is that what I think it is?"

Brylee handed it out to her.  Clarke sniffed it, taking in a deep breath and sighed.

"Need a light?" Brylee said with a grin on her face.
