Clarke sat in her car outside in the studio parking lot for a few minutes. Everything was set for tonight. Wade, Noah and Gil had really came through for her today. She took a deep breath and looked at herself in the mirror.
"No reason to be nervous. She loves you, you love her. It's going to be good." She looked over at the portfolio sitting in the seat next to her in the seat and smiled.
She couldn't believe the way her life going right now. The day she met Janet had changed everything for her. Clarke looked towards the studio door. Terry and Jimmy were walking out. She grabbed the ring and put it in her back pocket.
"Hey hey!" She said smiling as she got out of the car and meet them at their cars.
"Hey well if it isn't the girl that stole Janet's heart!" Terry joked.
"Hey beautiful." Jimmy said pulling her into a hug. "What are you doing here? Janet was just texting Preston to come pick her up."
Clarke smiled. "I spoke with him too actually. I wanted to surprise her, she said holding up a single rose she'd gotten on the way there. "Listen I'm glad you guys are both here. I wanted to show you something and see how you feel about it." She pulled the box from her back pocket and looked towards the studio door making sure no one was coming.
"Wow Clarke, congratulations!" Jimmy said.
"You think she'll say yes?" Clarke asked.
They looked at each other and smiled. "I've never seen her more smitten by anyone in her entire adult life." Terry joked.
"Yeah, I remember the first day you visited. The way you two looked at each other... I knew then, that wouldn't be the last time we saw you. The ring is perfect by the way. I think she'll really love it."
Clarke blushed closed the box and put it back in her pocket. "Well I better get in there. Thank you guys, enjoy the rest of your evening."
Clarke opened the door and walked down the familiar hallway stopping at the door. She knocked and opened it.

Janet glanced away from the control panel to see Clarke standing in the doorway.
"Baby!" She said jumping up and running towards her. Clarke barely got the door closed, holding the rose behind her back as Janet ran up to her and wrapped her arms around her neck. A sweet quiet moan escaped her lips. "What are you doing here?"
"I wanted to surprise you and take you out to dinner." She said and pulled the rose from behind her back. "For you." She said. Janet smiled.
"Thank you baby, you're always so sweet to me." She said sweetly and kissed her. She held her hand out and brought Clarke back to the control panel with her while, smelling her fresh rose. "Do you remember the day we met?" Janet asked, turning the music back up just a bit.
