A/N: Oh boy, this request took so very, very long to get done and I feel so horrible about it! I really, really hope that the person who requested it enjoys and doesn't mind the wait too horribly!

Request for: @DaCraftMachine and secondly requested by @Eddsworldluver, sorry again for the wait you two!

It had been hours since your boyfriend had left for the saloon, and you were getting bored, lonely, and just a little worried. Today was a slow day, and if today was like any other day this week it would continue to be a slow day.

"Dammit Thompson..," You grumbled crossly, "How long does it take to have a couple drinks?" Laying your head down on the desk you were seated at, a low groan escaped your lips.

Just as you began cursing his name, the man himself walked through the door. You flipped your hat back on your head and strode halfway across the room to meet him.

"Well, speak of the devil and he shall appear, ain't that right, Thompson?" You crooned, giving him a short kiss.

The display of affection didn't last much more than a second, but that was fine with you. That was just the type of people you both were, neither of you very much cared for affection.

"Hi, (Y/N)," He hummed out, softly kissing your forehead, "I missed you too, but we don't have time for that," He explained, you became worried.

"Why? What's the matter sheriff?" You never called Thompson 'sheriff' unless you were working, and urgent things were always almost work things, "don't tell me them bandits are at it again?"

"No it ain't them," He paused for a moment, until you motioned for him to continue, "This rookie detective just came in from England, needs our help-" You cut him off.

"We ain't got time to help him!" You called, "We're busy enough as is, what with not only watchin' the town, but trackin' down that Red Bandit and his posse as well!" You snapped.

"I know, I know!" Thompson hushed you, "But the kid offered to help, I couldn't turn him down," He explained.

"You're lettin' a rookie help?" You asked, dumbfounded, "Why, we can't even keep up with it all ourselves, and we've done this long as I can remember!" You exclaimed.

"Look, just... Just give him a chance, I was hopin' you could help him out a little, please (Y/N)?" He requested, "For me?" The other must've seen your hesitation for he knew you could never say 'no' to his puppy dog eyes.

"Fine," You groaned, slinging your trench coat over your shoulder and holstering your gun, "Show me to the rookie."

As per your request Thompson motioned you to follow him and led you outside, where you saw a boy waiting.

"(Y/N), this is detective Edward," Thompson introduced, motioning to the brunet, "Edward, this is (Y/N), the deputy of Spitbucket," You couldn't help but grin when he called you 'deputy'.

"Nice to meet you!" Edward chuckled out sheepishly, looking a little red in the face as he shook your hand.

"Howdy there rookie!" You hummed, "Well then Thompson, where do we start with him?" You asked, flashing a lopsided grin.

It soon became clear to you that Edward was far more of a lost cause than you previously thought. The poor boy couldn't even hold a gun correctly.

"No, wait, you're doing it wrong again, Edward," You started, before marching up to him and softly grabbing the hand he had clasped around the gun, "Oh just let me show you!" You groaned.

Thompson was watching from a distance, he had tried to help earlier, but had gotten frustraited and quit so he didn't snap at you. You felt the blue-clad blond's gaze boring into the back of your skull, but thought nothing of it and assumed he was meerly keeping a close eye on the progress you were making.

"Here, now hold your arms out like this, or that gun is going to fly back and hit you right in the face," You instructed, hands still softly placed atop the brunet's as you made him hold his arms out all the way; unintentionally wrapping your arms around his body.

"Now, ya just aim it 'n shoot," You told him, stepping back.

You dared to glance back at Thompson, and found him darkly glaring down Edward. There was no time for you to dwell why exactly Thompson was making that face, as you heard a loud gunshot ring out, and quickly snapped your attention back to Edward.

The day progressed, the brunet you were training... Not so much. Thompson had set Edward up in a room in the saloon, as it seemed it would be awhile until that rookie got to doing whatever he needed your help with. Honestly you didn't want to think about the inexperianced brunet right now, he was a wonderful person and you actually quite liked him, but training him was a headache.

So you didn't think about him, the day was winding down and this was your time to spend with Thompson. The two of you were curled up together in bed, your head rested on his chest while he twirled your (H/L) hair around his finger. You relaxed as you felt the rise and fall of his chest as he breathed, but still, you felt that something wasn't quite right with him.

"Thompson, are you okay, love?" You asked, tilting your head back to look up at him, "I've been worried about you all day..," You mused.

Your lover groaned and shifted you in his arms, moving to wrap his arms around your waist and pulling you closer. You knew that was his way of telling you he didn't want to talk about it. That was too bad for him though, because you did.

You thought back on today, there was honestly nothing you could think of that would cause him to act any different. Thankfully, you didn't have to, because Thompson told you.

"I don't like the way he looked at you, the way he touched you..." He grumbled, you couldn't help but grin.

"So you're tellin' me that you're jealous?" You hummed out, he scoffed in response.

"I'm not jealous in the least!" He defended sharply, you giggled, "I just... Just don't want you trainin' him no more..." He muttered, holding onto you a little tighter.

"Oh? And why not?" You chimed out, a note of teasing in your voice.

"Because he was gettin' too close to you, I don't like people touchin' what's mine." He growled lowly.

You laughed softly, trailing your hands up his chest and resting them on his shoulders. A sweet smile graced your lips as your (E/C) eyes met his gaze, "You're too cute darlin'." You crooned, "Well don't you worry none 'bout that rookie, I'm all yours" You cooed sweetly, leaning your head into his hand when he ran his fingers through your hair.

"Damn right you're mine" He teasingly growled into your ear. Your smile only widened when you heard the playfulness that seeped into his tone.

"Well I certainly wouldn't want to be anyone else's," You hummed, cupping his cheek softly, "Oh Thompson, I love you so much, you don't even know," You sighed out blissfully.

"I love you even more, sweetheart," He crooned into your ear, causing you to grin.

Once again Thompson shifted you in his arms, only to plant many quick kisses all over your face. Sweet laughter erupted from you before the blond silenced you with a sweet kiss on the lips. You returned the kiss slowly, loosely draping your arms around his shoulders. Slowly you pulled away after a moment, only to be greeted with the sweetest and happiest smile you had ever seen Thompson manage.

"Mine," He playfully growled once more, nipping at your earlobe causing you to giggle, "My (Y/N)"

You smiled once more, "Yes, my love" You cooed, "I'm yours"

You fit perfectly in Thompson's arms as he cradled you close, the rhythmic beating of his heart and soft breathing lulling you slowly into a sweet sleep. Tomorrow you were sure you'd have to go back to training Edward, but that was okay, you had a plan this time.

Oh Thompson was sure to be so very jealous by the time you were done.

A/N: Ugh, I feel like such a horrible author, the other day I came across two requests I promised to do that didn't make it onto the request queue, thankfully I finally got them on there, to the two people who requested them I apologize, but I promise that your requests WILL get done! Thank all of you for being so patient with me!! -Daybreak
