26. James you were right I'm going to kill you

Mai was stressed this was not what she had planed when she come here. The flight back to New York she spent thinking if she can find a way to quit this job. It’s not just that he her partner was Matt it’s the point she felt she could not control her feelings.

James was avoiding her calls as she knew he would. Before she left he told her that she was going to kill him when she got back and he was right she was going to kill him the first time she sees him. James you are a dead man walking.

She was going to meet with Belinda she needed a girlfriend. Drew could listen for hours but he was not going to understand this.

Belinda was already in the cafe drinking what seemed here second cup of coffee today when she noticed Mai walking towards her she smiled and got up. She greeted Mai with a kiss on the cheek.

“Ok tell me what’s up?” Belinda was never one to go around about things she was direct like a bullet to the head

“Your remember that I was going for a reading for that new movie I got the part in?” Belinda thought about it for a minute and nodded her head

“Guess who the lead man is!” Mai raised her voice “Matt.” At that Belinda could not say a thing.

“Now I know why you called me not Drew. Do you think James knew did you talk to him?” she asked and Mai took a deep breath

“He is not answering his phone I left him some messages and I going to go by his place afterword to talk to him.”

It was four o clock when Mai got to James’s building to talk to him she was still angry with him but not as much as a few days ago. The elevator ride up was short and she was on the sixteenth floor. She walked to his door and rang the bell. From the inside she could hearer bangs and crash’s and Mai was a little worried. But at the end James opened the door. He had a scared smile on his face.

“H-Hey Mai what.... what are you doing here?” he asked scared that she was going to attack him

“Did you know? And I want the truth.” She demanded and James decided that it was as good as anything

“I knew and I’m sorry. I think you need to face him and this is the best thing I could do.” He said looking at her

“You know I could kill you.” She said

“But you won’t right?” he asked her as she smiled

Well she was going to be working with her ex who is by the media not here ex and she thought that things could not get any worse than they are right now.
