31. Interview and buying rings

The last month was tiring to Mai and Matt. Mai was trying to avoiding the media and all the reporters that kept asking her questions about her and Matt. Matt was not having it easy as well. When he got out of the gats to go to London for the interview he was almost crashed with a bunch of reporters on his way.

Mai has never been this nervous in her life. She kept telling herself it was just an interview but that didn’t help at all. On the other hand it kept her calm that she would not be alone it this Matt will be with her.

When he arrived at the BBC the first thing he did was go look for her. She was in a dressing room getting ready but when she saw his face she got out of her chair and hugged him.

“I’m glad you are here.” She said bringing him closer to her “I’ve never been this scared in my life I don’t know why but I feel like this is the scariest thing I had to do.” He kissed the top of her head and pulled her head to look at her eyes

“Everything will be fine we know how Graham is if something goes the wrong way he will joke it off. I’m here and I love you never forget that.” He told her

When they were called to come he took her hand and squeezed it like he was telling her everything will be ok.

Graham started the show with a few jokes and welcomed the public in his audience to the studio. He said hello to them to and that is when he popped the question.

“Now Matt there is a picture of you and Mai that has been circling the news and magazines and the whole country is curious now. What is that picture?” Graham asked slowly and Matt looked at Mai who smile at him.

“Well i guess I can’t say that it’s a scene from the move right?” he said looking to the audience

“So are you two a thing?” asked Graham finally

“Well we just got back together.” Mai said cutting in on Matt who was going to answer the question

“You just got back together. So this happened before we just weren’t looking weary well and you two are excellent liars. Well you are actors I should not be suppressed. So how long have you tow been together and please tell us the full number.” Graham begged and Mai and Matt started calculating how long has it been

“I think it’s been a little bit over a year and half but don’t take it for sure.” Matt said to him

“You know what? I think you guys have been the most successful ones on hiding their relationship from the public. Some of your colleges cant take it even a day and they have to shout it out loud.” Graham said

He asked them how they have met and all the stuff you want to know about a new celebrity couple. Their first kiss, the first date how they spent their first holidays together did they meet each other’s family and stuff like that. Someone in the public asked Matt what took him so long to get back to Mai.

Now that the interview was over Mai didn’t know why she was so afraid of it. Graham made it so easy on them making jokes and lightning the mood as much as he could. Now the only thing they had to do was face the reporter that were outside and that was when Mai realized that Graham was a pace of cake to what was waiting for them outside. Matt walked in and asked her

“Are you ready.” She sight and said

“As ready as I’ll ever be.” At that Matt smiled and took her hand. The bunch of reporters that ambushed them and the door asked the same questions and Matt was more than happy to answer them all. When they got home it was already six PM and they were exhausted of saying the same thing a hundred times. The only thought in Mai’s brain was food and Matt could not agree more with her.
