August didn't come to school today but he's going to pick me up. School is so boring but August hasn't been to school in a while if you think about it. Anyways I seen his car pull up. I opened the door and the smell of weed hit my nose.
" That smell ".
" My bad ". He say kissing me.
" It's ok ".
" How was ya day ". He asked pulling off.
" Good I want to try out for the girls basketball team ". I say.
" You do ".
" Yes ". I said smiling.
" Do you even know how to play ".
" Kinda that's why I have you can you teach me more ". I said with a grin.
" Yeah ".
" I'll come to the gym when you have your free periods ".
" Nah ". He said.
" Why ".
" I'm dropping out ". He said.
" What ". I said turning my face.
" Why ". I added.
" It's not safe ".
" Meaning......August your the star basketball player and you have scholarships waiting for you you can't throw it away because it's not safe ". I say.
" And What are you going to do when you leave sell drugs? ".
" .......l
" So your going to sell drugs ". I asked.
" This can be a conversation for the future ". He say.
" No tell me now ". I protested.
" I sell drugs ". He say.
" AUGUST ". I yelled.
" That's How I survive I got respect and I got money ". He said.
" You don't want to go to college ".
" August you can't do this please ". I say.
