It was little after 8 and we were all leaving and I saw River rushing to her car dropping her jacket.

" River you dr-

She didn't hear me she just got in the car and pulled off.

" Boy What did you do ". Maddie say.

" I didn't do shit ".

I group of girl came over to me smiling. I guess they were fans.

" I love you so much ". One girl say.

" I love you too beautiful ". I say signing her poster.

" Where's your daughter ". She asked.

" With her grandma being bad ". I say joking.

They laughed and I gave them hugs and left.

I got to the house and I saw Ken in the living room.

" I told yo ass to be home before 8 ". He say getting up.

" It was a lot of traffic ". I said scared.

He grabbed my neck and chocked me. Than started punching me.

" I'm sorry ". I cried.

He pushed me on the ground and started kicking me.

" DUMB BITCH ". He yelled.

August POV

I pulled in the driveway to River " house ". I grabbed her jacket and got out the car. When I went to the door I knocked it was quiet. Nobody came to the door and I rung it again. When I did River opened it. She had bruises all on her phone.

" What the fuck happened to you ". I asked.

" Nothing August ". She say trying to close the door.

" Get in the fucking car now ". I say.

She looked at me and started walking to the car.

I walked into the house I saw him walking down the stairs.

I just started beating his ass.

" DONT EVER PUT YO FUCKING HANDS ON MY GIRL ". I said kicking him.

My anger got the best of me because I couldn't stop and I didn't want too.

He stopped moving and that's when I stopped.

" Don't fuck with me ". I say leaving.

I had blood on my shirt my hands were sore. When I got to the car I didn't say anything to River.
