"W-What happened?" Carlos asked opening his eyes and looking around. Was he in a.... Hospital bed?

"I don't know. Why'd you faint?" Carlos turned to see Jay leaning against the doorway, his eyebrow raised and his arms crossed.

Then it but Carlos. "Wait, where's Jane?!' He asked freaking out.

"Dude, chill. She's talking with the others. What is going on?"

"Nothing.... Nothing," Carlos said leaning back again.

"Carlos! You're awake!" Jane ran over to him.

"Yeah..... So.... Are you?" Carlos asked in a hushed tone.

Jane nodded. "I found out yesterday."

"How?"

"Well, there are these pregnancy tests you buy at a st-"

"No, I mean, how could this happen?"

"I'm pretty sure you know how...."

"Does everyone ask that?"

"I think every man does when it happens unexpectedly."

"Does anyone else know?"

"Not that I know of," Jane shook her head.

"What are we going to do?"

"Carlos..."

"Your mom's gonna kill me."

"Carlos, you're freaking out."

"We're still in high school."

"Carlos!" Jane yelled and Carlos looked up at her.

"Huh?"

"It's going to be okay. I promise," Jane said taking his hand.

"But how are we going to raise a baby Jane? We're not even eighteen yet," Carlos said.

"We're seventeen, and graduating next year. I bet you if we work really hard, we can graduate with the others."

"You really think we can do this don't you."

"Yes I do. Because I love you Carlos, and I do want a family with you."

"I love you too," Carlos said and kissed her.

Jay, who was still standing there, exited the room quietly and unnoticed by Jane and Carlos.

He quickly went to Evie's room where Lonnie and the others were.

"Jane's pregnant," Jay said when he reached the room.

"What?" Mal asked as everyone turned.

"How can you be sure?" Lonnie asked picking up a whimpering Lexi from her carseat.

"I heard her talking about it with Carlos."

"Is that why he fainted?" Evie asked and Jay nodded.

"Let's not jump to any conclusions," Ben said calmly.

"Jane's pregnant Ben," Mal looked at her husband.

"You don't know that for sure," Ben said.

"Ben's right. Until we know for sure that she is, we don't need to do anything," Doug said.

"Fine. But I'm getting answers," Lonnie said.

"No," Jay shook his head. "They're probably scared."

"Let them tell us when they're ready," Ben said and the girls groaned. Lexi let out a wail and Lonnie smiled.

"Even Lexi's not satisfied with that answer," She said swaying slightly trying to calm her daughter.

"It's the way it has to be," Mal agreed.

"The way what has to be?" Jane asked walking in with Carlos.

"Nothing," Evie said quickly shaking her head. Carlos looked at his friends faces and rolled her eyes.

"Whatever," He said.

"Jane, how have you been feeling?" Lonnie asked.

"Lonnie!" Jay gave her a look.

"What? I just want to know how she's dealing with all the stress and everything that's been happening," Lonnie replied sticking her tongue out at her fiance.

"I'm good," Jane nodded.

They all stayed there until about eight at night when they decided to go back to their dorms.

"Put Lexi to sleep, I'm going to go get ready for bed," Lonnie said as they reached Jay's dorm.

"Why do I have to put her to sleep?" Jay asked looking at the crying baby.

"Because I gave birth to her," Lonnie said handing Lexi to him.

Jay sighed and then his face scrunched up. "I think she needs a diaper change too," he said and held his nose on the way to the changing table. Lonnie just laughed and went to get ready for bed.

Who's ready for a day where Lexi meets the grandparents?
