A short while ago,my headphone,which cost me fifteen dollars,stopped working all together. Perhaps,I'd been listening to music at too high volume for too long. All of a sudden something snapped in my TV and the sound won't come out anymore.
Out of annoyance, I flung my TV to the floor. I felt a heavy thud as the TV hit the hardwood floor; it was then I came to my senses.
What was I doing? This TV code me a hundred and fifty dollars altogether.
Fortunately, the place where the TV landed was carpeted and although I felt the thud,I didn't hear the sound as it dropped.
It can't be broken,can it? - I thought as I picked it from the floor,placed it back on it's stand and flicked it on.
It was showing imaged as usual,thank God,but no sound came out of it. The TV was broken too.
But it was strangely quite outside today... Maybe I'll go out now and take a walk for a change.
