Isaura's sore throat was more than a sore throat

Isaura's sore throat was more than a sore throat. As the days went on, she began to feel feverish and had a terrible cough. She had to stay home and Pablo, Joshua and Dia would put as much distance between them and her. Isa would glare at them, telling them that there's no reason to overreact, but whenever she would cough, they would take one large step back.

Isaura would trudge around the apartment, moaning and groaning. There's a colorful display of medicine on the small table in the living room where Isa is lying on the couch, wrapped around in a blanket. She had taken numerous naps throughout the day and she has absolutely no idea what time it is. Neither of her siblings or friend are up there with her and her head is too hazy to think clearly.

Isaura has been awake for an hour, her bleary eyes barely focused on the tv, she wants some sort of comfort and only felt worse when she noticed that Biscuit isn't up there.

"He's an emotional support dog. He should be here supporting me" Isa grumbled.

She shuffled on the couch and sat up, the blanket still wrapped around her. Her brown hair is tucked in two braids, stray hairs escaping the twists.

"Hey there good lookin'" Isa turned her head to see Natasha Romanoff standing in the middle of the room.

"What are you doing here?" Isa's voice was hoarse.

"Came to pay my friends a visit but they told me to keep my distance because you're sick" Natasha explained "that's why I'm not coming any closer to you" Isa frowned at that.

Shuffling was heard at the kitchen and she turned around to see Tony standing by the open refrigerator. He gasped loudly and reached for something inside "you guys have cheesecake" he set the cake on the counter and went to grab a plate.

"Did you come to eat our food?" Isaura questioned.

"I rather not answer that question" Tony said.

"I'll take that as a yes" Isa mumbled.

A small plastic bag landed on the couch and Isa reached for it. She pulled out a bottle of DayQuil and NyQuil "we stopped by CVS on our way here" Natasha informed.

"Thanks" Isa opened the cherry flavored DayQuil and poured some in the small plastic cup.

"So, what is it? Strep? Common cold? Bronchitis? Mono?" Tony began as he ate cheesecake.

Isa set the empty cup down "I've come to the conclusion that it's a cold" she said.

"Don't want that" Tony stayed in the kitchen.

"Same" Natasha nodded.

"Yeah, everyone is keeping their distance" Isaura nodded, referring to her roommates.

"That explains why no one is up here. Are they all downstairs?" Tony questioned.

"I have no idea" Isaura answered truthfully.
