Ice Skating- Kakashi x Reader Modern AU

My 'Oh So Amazing Boyfriend' decided it would be a good idea to go out and, go on a date. The only problem was, it was the season where I like to ignore everything and hibernate. But No! I just had to go out and be a 'Good Girlfriend'. So instead of lying on the couch snuggled up in warm fuzzy blankets with Kakashi, here we were walking in the cold hand in hand, heading to the skating rink.

"See (Y/N), it is not that bad today. So stop frowning you'll get wrinkles." Kakashi tried to reason with me chuckling at the end.

I couldn't help but huff while turning my head away from him, "Instead of going out on a date, we could be at home having a date."

Once Kakashi heard my reply he sighed, "Instead of being grouchy, think about the good this could bring."

"Like me falling?" I interjected on Kakashi's little rant.

"Exactly! From you falling not only do I get a good laugh, you learn from experience!" Kakashi exclaimed happily seeming to gain a smile behind his mask.

But Kakashi wasn't smiling happily for long because, I smacked his arm and stormed of ahead. Not to mention yelling in the process "Meet you there!"

"Took you long enough to get here." I said glancing up from my phone to meet Kakashi's gaze.

Kakashi smirked from beneath his mask before responding, "Well you see I got lost on the path of-"

"We don't have time for your excuses, lets go get our skates." I spoke with annoyance putting my phone away.

After that was said and done we headed over to the skate rental counter. It didn't take long for me and Kakashi to get our skates considering the line was very short.

Once we made our way into the rink and had our skates on, we were on the ice.

"I don't know about you but, I think those two guys in front of us in line are a couple." I stated as we're skating around the rink, trying to make conversation.

"You mean the silver haired dude and the guy with black hair?" Kakashi asked wanting to confirm his thoughts.

Giving a firm nodded I responded, "Yeah those-"

I was cut off when Kakashi suddenly fell. On instinct I bursted out laughing falling in the process too.

"It is not that funny (Y/N)." Kakashi grumbled trying to stand up but ultimately failing.

By him doing this I only laughed harder. In the end Kakashi managed to get up, sadly. And feeling a little bad about me laughing I thought of a way to make it up to him.

"Hey maybe after we're done skating.... Would you maybe be interested in going to the movie theater?" I asked feeling my cheeks heat up a bit because, I already knew his snarky reply.

Kakashi chortled at my embarrassment, "But we could watch a movie at home."

"Fine then. I guess I'll go to the movies by myself." I said before darting to the closest exit.

My actions caused Kakashi to panic for a second, "Wait (Y/N)-"

Kakashi magically fell once again.
