Everyone watched as Asgard was still being destroyed.
"The damage is not too bad. As long as the foundations are still strong, we can rebuild this place. It will become a haven for all peoples and aliens of the universe," Korg explained while carrying Miek.
Then the whole place exploded, leaving no signs of life.
"Now those foundations are gone. Sorry," Korg said.
Thor's heart broke more and more as they watched the explosion getting bigger.
"What have I done?" he asked.
"You saved us from extinction. Asgard is not a place; it's a people," Heimdall told him.
A single tear went down Thor's cheek from his good eye. Then he felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see it was Jamie.
"I will miss it too. It was the place I met my amazing big brother and the love of my life. But I know that I'll always have them, no matter where I go," she said.
"Indeed you will, Jamie," he smiled.
