Chapter 12

Indie's POV

I wanted to make sure Alex was ok, so I went over to his room.

I knocked on the door and Ashlyn opened it.

"Hey." I said walking past her to Alex.

He there was a bloody towel on the floor and a smaller one over his nose.

"Jesus Christ. Are you alright? I am so sorry!"

"Yea. What the hell is wrong with that guy, though?"

"I don't know why he did that." I didn't know what else to say.

"What an asshole!" Laney said from across the room.

I turned towards her.

"Did you just call Taylor an asshole?"

"Yea. Why?"

"Never. Call him that. You have no right to say that. You don't know Taylor like I do, ok?"

"What? Are actually going to keep dating him after what just happened?"

"No, but that doesn't mean I don't still love him. And there is no reason for you to call him that! He's a great person, it's not like he did it for no reason!"

"Whatever." She rolled her eyes.

"Oh! And, what the hell are you doing in my room making out with Cameron!?"

"You did what!?" Gabrielle and Ashlyn said at the same.

"I uh. Yea, um..."

"Stay away from him, okay?"

"Why? Are you into him or something?"

"No but... but..." I didn't actually know why.

"Just do it! I thought this would be really great to have you guys meet my other friends but I guess not."

"Sounds like you're blaming it on us!"

"I'm not but I'm trying to say I know who my real friends are now."

"Who?!"

"It's definitely not you! I was embarrassed in front of all my friends and my party was ruined, and you don't even ask if I'm ok!"

"That is so selfish! That idiot, Taylor, freaking punched in Alex's face and you're concerned about yourself?!"

"I can't deal with this right now!" As I opened the door to leave Nash was opening it to enter.

"Oh! Hey." He said.

I tried to walk pass him put he held me there, by my shoulders.

"What?" I asked.

"Taylor's up there."

"I don't know if I want to talk to him yet."

"Ok. You wanna go to my room then?"

I wanted to be alone but I said yes anyways.

When we were in the room we just sat on the bed, across from each other, just staring at each other.

Then I said,

"You know what I never thought about?"

"What?"

"What are we going to tell the fans? Just send out a tweet saying, 'Love you guys! Oh and by the way Taylor and I broke up! Lol!'."

"Haha. Well, definitely not that."
