Hi there guys! Here's another update, enjoy reading! LOVE U!

Andrei's POV

The easy banter immediately stopped as soon as I entered the kitchen.

I felt all four pairs of eyes were on me as I let myself unto one of the vacant stools.

"Hrmph! Hrmph!" Davey made a sound which I took as a sign it was time for me to talk, and that all the four of them had been waiting for my reappearance!

Of course, I could read my friends' minds or rather, what is going on in their minds right now. They've been my buddies since way back when. Nevertheless, they knew me too well they can't budge me into anything if, at all . . . I didn't feel good doing it.

They'll have to sit there the whole day if it has to make me feel a bit better about talking!!!

And in this particular instance, they're sitting it out just to make me talk, this time . . . about Ashton!

I let out a soft sigh. Procrastination has, this one time given me sweet satisfaction!

I enjoyed it with each passing second. Though deep inside I felt very much like mashed potato.

I took my plate and stuffed it with some breakfast stuff, taking my time with each bite . . . never lifting my eyes from the food.

Yep! So far??? So good! No one's talking . . . no one's making a sound! Fine!!!

I felt the hairs on my nape began to stand on its ends.

"Can't I have my breakfast in peace?" I lifted my eyes and looked at each one of them, including Sabbi who was wearing an amused smile on her face.

"What???" I pointedly looked at Sabbi.

She just shrugged off her shoulders and raised an eyebrow at me.

"Come on Andrea! You're prolonging the suspense . . . " Angela complained.

"Yup, we got you best friend. And, you know very well we can read what's on your mind, alright? This is just one of your delaying tactics." Davey rejoined.

"Come on girl . . . we're waiting, spill the beans now! It's precisely why we're here in the first place. Now, c'mon . . . spill it!" Hyacinth pressured me further.

"And you promised . . . " Davey reminded me.

"Right! Alright!" I held my two hands up and nodded my head. Then, my resolve faltered . . . and went back to eating again.

Feigning disinterest wasn't much of a help. I knew that at one point or another I would have to tell them. I just didn't know where to start, my tongue now got stuck inside my mouth.

"He was here . . . " I suddenly blurted . . .

My eyes were down on my food, much as I want to see the looks on their faces, right now . . . my nerves were weighing me down.

"Who?" They all asked in unison, the surprise was evident in the inflection of their voices.

"Ashton was here." I finally opted to open my mouth . . .  trying hard not to get carried away! I might get my friends' thumbs up. But I couldn't shake off my conflicting emotions right now. The doubts and insecurities were just too overwhelming despite the joy and excitement that filled my heart.

"Whattt???" Someone asked.

"Ashton . . .? As . . . in . . . Sterling . . . ?"

". . . . as in Ashton, the CEO?"
