Dark Love

Chapter 10

It was the night of the Winter Solstice Ball I was getting Katherine ready when I was finished getting her ready, I got myself ready I put on my powder blue ball gown and put my hair up into a bun Katherine and I left my room we walked downstairs to the grand ballroom when Katherine and I entered the grand ballroom I felt everyone stare at me Katherine stayed close to my side. Queen Alexandria walked over to us Katherine and I bowed respectfully she looked at us and smiled the Queen is wearing a dark blue ball gown with matching choker.

"Lady Elena may I speak to you privately for a moment?" 

"Of course, your Majesty." 

I followed Queen Alexandria out onto the balcony and closed the french doors behind us so the crowd wouldn't over hear us. 

"Damon told me that you too would like to be alone together." Queen Alexandria said.

"Yes, your Majesty." I replied nervously. 

"I told Damon that I will look after Katherine." 

"Thank you very much your Majesty." 

Queen Alexandria and I walked back inside Damon walked over to us with Katherine I looked at him and smiled he smiled back. 

"Lady Elena may I have this dance?" Damon asked. 

"Yes, you may your Highness." I said. 

Damon took me by the hand and led me onto the dance floor we were dancing to a slow waltz I felt everyone staring at Damon and I when the song ended, we left the dance floor and walked over to his mother she was holding Katherine she was sound asleep with her head resting on the Queen's shoulder. 

"Meet me in my room." Damon whispered in my ear. 

I watched Damon leave the ball room a few minutes later I left the ball room and walked up the stairs to Damon's room I opened the door and quietly stepped into the room and closed the door softly behind me. 

"I love that color on you and it suits you very much."

"Thank you, your Highness."

Damon was sitting on the couch I walked over to him and joined him on the couch I removed my silk slippers and rubbed the tops of my feet. 

"Put your feet up." He said. 

I put my feet up on the couch Damon had my legs across his lap I just wanted him to kiss me so bad and maybe bed me I was trying to get comfortable but I couldn't because I tied my corset to tight, I never had to wear a corset when I lived in the village. 

"Lydia are you okay?" 

"I tied my corset to tight and I am having a hard time getting comfortable." 

"Remove your ball gown and corset so you can be comfortable." Damon said. 

I got up off the couch and untied my ballgown I pulled the ball gown over my head and untied the corset and removed it I was left in my cami and under garments I sat back down on the couch.

"Can I get you anything?"

"No thank you I'm fine." 

Damon leaned over and kissed me I felt an electrical current run through me the minute his lips met mine the kiss soon turned passionate and urgent Damon scooped me up in his arms and carried me to his room without breaking the kiss a few hours later Damon kissed me he laid beside me our breathing was heavy and raged I kissed his cheek. 

"I love you, Damon." I whispered. 

"I love you too, Lydia." Damon said softly. 

"That was amazing thank you for claiming me." 

"I enjoyed claiming you and next time I bed you again I will not give you a tonic afterwards." 

I looked at him and blushed Damon kissed me once more and blew out the candle we laid in bed together there in the dark and gazed into each other's eyes and laid in bed together naked under the blankets. 

"Lydia is it alright with you if I move into your room?" Damon asked.

"I don't mine one bit." I said happily. 

Damon and I kissed each other good-night he draped his arm across me and pulled me closer to him we fell asleep.
