"Happy Birthday, Thea"

At Oliver's.

I put the stick in my computer and opened the folder.

Oliver and i were sitting in Oliver's bedroom on his computer. We had put the stick in the computer.

Me "we need a log-in. something we don't have"

Oliver "Let me"

He typed something in and it opened.

Me "great"

Suddenly Thea stormed inside.

Oliver "knocking is not just a suggestion"

Thea "i need to talk to you"

I closed the computer.

Oliver shook his head "Thea, i'm not telling you if Mom's getting you a car"

Thea "it's not about that. Remember last week when i asked you if you thought Mom was acting wired?"

Oliver nodded "yep"

Thea "Well, i found out why. She's hooking up with Tommy's dad"

Oliver scoffed amused "That's insane"

I grimaced "No that's disgusting"

Thea "i just saw them together. It's happening all over again"

Oliver asked confused "what are you talking about?"

I warned "Thea"

Oliver and Thea looked at me.

I shook my head at her.

Oliver asked confused "what?"

Thea sighed and sat down "a couple months before you, Dad and Pedro left on the Gambit Mom and dad were arguing a lot"

Oliver "about what?"

Thea shook her head "i don't know. But she was having a lot of these lunch meetings with Mr. Merlyn. And now Walter's gone too and Mom and Mr. Merlyn are back at it. It's gross"

Oliver shook his head "Mom never would've cheated on Dad. She's not cheating on Walter"

Thea shook her head "you don't wanna believe it because you have this perfect image of Mom in your head. That's not who she is,Ollie. She's a liar and a cheater. And you really don't know her at all"

Then she stood up and walked out of the room.

Oliver looked at me "you're too quiet, why?"

I shook my head "nada"

Oliver raised an eyebrow "Catalina Maria Flores"

I grimaced "Oliver, come on. Not the full name, please"

Oliver "what aren't you telling me?"

I sighed "Don't forget that we all have changed while you were gone, Oliver."

Then I stood up and "I'm gonna talk to Thea"

i walked out of his room and to Thea's room.

Then I knocked on the door.

Thea yelled "no, Ollie, i'm not in the mood"

I opened the door and saw her lying on the bed, playing with her phone.

Me "Can i come in?"

Thea "you're already in my room"

I rolled my eyes and closed the door behind me.

I walked to her bed and sat down next to her.

Thea "what do you want? did Oliver send you?"

I shook my head "No"

Thea "you know i'm right"

I nodded "and i told him that, Thea"

She put her phone on her stomach and looked at me "why you and Oliver so close again? he cheated on you, Catalina, and now you're work partners?"

I sighed "Thea"

Thea asked confused  "how can you be so calm about this? "

Me "Oliver and i made peace, okay? No need to bring bad blood between us."

Thea shook her head "I'm not. It's just obvious that you still have feelings for my big brother"

I shook my head "i have no idea what you are talking about"

Thea nodded "you do. I can see it every time you look at him"

Me "I don't love him anymore"

Thea "Biggest lie on earth. If you wanna keep lying then leave, please"

I raised an eyebrow at her and scoffed "Happy birthday, Thea"

Then I stood up and walked out.

At home.

I opened the front door and sighed annoyed "what do you want?"

Oliver walked inside.

 I closed the door behind him.

Oliver "someone on Blackhawk is doing those robberies ."

Me "you took care of it?"

He nodded.

I nodded "good. Why are wearing a suit?"

Oliver "Thea's birthday party"

I nodded "oh"

Oliver "you forgot?"

I shook my head "i didn't. Thea and i aren't exactly good with each at the moment"

Oliver sat down on the sofa "what happened?"

I shook my head "girl's stuff. Did you talk to your mother?"

Oliver nodded "yeah, that's something i wanted ask you about"

I nodded "sure"

I sat down next to him.

Oliver "my parents and your dad were best friends"

I nodded "yes"

Oliver "I knew that my mother always went to Pedro when she had something on her heart. My father did that too"

I nodded "And your question is?"

Oliver "have you ever overheard something?"

Me "and what?"

Oliver shrugged "anything"

i looked down.

There was something but...but i can't tell him that.

I looked at him and stood up "you gonna drive me to Thea's party?"

Oliver stood up "Catalina "

I walked upstairs into my bedroom and into my walk-in closet.

Oliver followed me "Catalina, do you know something or not?"

I took a dress out and turned to him "Remember the deal we made?"

Oliver "the one were we would always be honest with each other?"

I shook my head "the other one. The one where i told you that i would rather have you not telling me anything instead of lying. And we made a deal out of it. "

Oliver "you know something?"

Me "I'm gonna get ready for the party"

Then i walked into the bathroom and got ready.
