"Did you get it?" Veer asked Aditi while they were walking towards class.

"Yeah, I had to steal it from my neighbor's garden though. It was jumping all around."

"The real fun will be when it jumps on Akira; the real happiness will be when she starts to scream like a maniac."

They both laughed realizing that Sara's idea of humiliating Akira will be hilarious and embarrassing at the same time. As soon as they stepped in, they noticed a girl sitting on Eshaan's lap. They were fully engrossed in their make out session. If someone else had done this, they would have already been rusticated but when it comes to him, no rules are applied.

'Jerk!' Veer thought and ignored him.

But Eshaan got up from his seat and walked towards Veer and Aditi with his evil grin as usual.

"Hello brother!" He ignored him and turned his face to the other side. Veer refused to acknowledge him as a brother as he is worse than an enemy.

"Hey, sexy lady."

Veer couldn't control himself when he addressed to Aditi this time. He stood up and faced Eshaan. "What did you just say to her?"

"Chill bro, didn't know that she's taken. I mean obviously she roamed around with so many boys most of the time so I thought she was..." Aditi's face turned red due to his remarks.

"Get the fuck out of here and don't you dare disrespect my friends. I've been tolerating enough, don't make me forget that you're my cousin." Eshaan seemed to be cautious of his threat and backed off.

"Thank you," Aditi muttered.

"It's cool; I would have done this for anyone."

Veer got his mind off Eshaan and focused on Akira instead because she was about to get the surprise of her life. She'll definitely regret the harm she has caused to Veer and his friends.

"As you know, the exhibition is in two weeks so better start working on your projects and if you need any help, inform me," announced the teacher. Akira stared at the board thinking of Veer once again. She should be concentrating on her future but she can't as her present is messed up.

"I can't wait to start this project," said Maryam with a tint of excitement in her voice. Trying to look more interested in the project, Akira asked her, "Is it true that the winner will also receive a huge prize from a businessman? I overheard some girls talking about it."

"That businessman is my elder brother and the prize will be attending a high socialite party and a dinner with him as well, getting to know more about businesses and probably a job opportunity."

Akira never expected all of that; job possibility would be nice because competition is very tough here. She can get an internship. Studying and working at the same time seemed like a good idea for the moment.
