It had been a while since Angel and I had first talked, but it had not been the last or only time.

Nearly everyday, I talked to her whenever the both of us could even when I was swamped with meetings and she was promoting. It had become a pattern, a weekly thing for us to do, if not daily.

And it was nice.

The conversations we had were the ones that I had always wanted with Mora. We used to do this, but it always ended badly. With Angel, even though she was young, there was a maturity about her that exceeded Jungkook, and also myself.

When I saw her though, my body always reacted to her immediately. It would get relaxed and I couldn't help but smile. With her everything was so natural.

Jungkook has mentioned it before, gently patting my shoulder. Taehyung and Jimin has noticed it as well, telling me that I was smiling more often and looked less exhausted, at least physically.

I guess it was true.

When I saw her, it was as if she was healing me, like she was a true angel.

And I couldn't help but always be looking forward to meeting her.

And I had gotten permission from the others...they had told me to just keep doing whatever I was doing, because it was showing more results than a decade of attempts.

I was at work again waiting for the elevator when I was bumped in the back by someone.

"Oops," a voice chimed, but I knew who it was from the way my stomach gently sighed . "Hoseok," she looked around shushing herself, afraid someone would have heard. "Sorry..."

"It's alright." I chuckled as she looked so cautiously around the area where we waited for the elevator. She smiled as she saw me and I wondered why, as I held the elevator doors opened for her. "Is there something on my face?"

"No, it's just you smiled—at me." I blinked as she stepped into the elevator after me. She pressed the close button numerously before she lightly stepped back, standing less than a foot away from me. She complimented me saying, "You have a beautiful smile."

"Do I?" I laughed. "Thank you, it's rare for people to comment on my smile. Though I guess I don't smile as often at work."

It was true. I don't usually smile because there was no need to. I guess it wasn't until recently I found myself a reason to smile.

"It's because you're swamped with work." Angel softly said as the level went up. I noticed she never pressed the floor she wanted to go to. "I'm going where you're going."

How did she know? How did she know what I planned to ask or say before me? She always knew.

"I see, to the upper offices?" I looked at her face, her make up was still flawless. She noddded. "Who do you need to talk to?"

"You...", Angel's words made me skip a heartbeat.

I could see easily why she was very popular amongst her fans. Her smile—all of them—were beautiful and captivating. She didn't notice my string, I don't think.

"I don't have anyone else I would want to talk to except you." Her light soprano voice filled me with wonder. It was from the heavens.

"I'm flattered." I replied, ignoring my desire to continue to stare at her. I cleared my throat as I looked away from her and to the numbers that went up.

We got off the elevator, and as we were about to turn the corner, we heard a voice.

I flinched and my feet stopped as I became frozen.

Why was she here?

"Mora," I said softly at first, under my breath. My eyes took her in from the distance as she went in my office and I could feel my stomach drop.

"Hoseok!" I knew who it was before I saw her. I knew without seeing who it was. From the voice I knew. I knew from how my body reacted.

Angel watched me carefully before pulling me away. Her soft hands wrapped around my larger hands and it was like an anchor. She pushed me to a corner and into the stairwell that I had never been to nor had known it was there in the first place. It was rarely used by anyone since the floor we were on was pretty high.

She shushed me as she gripped my hand firmly. Her smaller hand held so much strength, and it flowed to me. Inside, we could hear her voice get louder as she slammed the doors.

I flinched every time a door slammed.

She was getting closer and I felt a headache grow.

Angel frowned as she pulled me deeper into the stairwell and up half another level, and at a corner, pushed me to the wall.

Then we waited, waited for the nightmare to catch up.
