Orders can have very strange effects on people, and these effects do not just effect them during missions, but in every day life as well.
Say you have someone the order to trust you, no matter what. They will trust you through that mission, however they will not stop trusting you until you tell them to.
They may even take it a step further and take that trust to a different level by making a move on you. Keep in mind that this new found affection is most likely fake, as the only reason you probably gave them the order to trust you in the first place is because they hated you.
If you do not give the order for them to stop trusting you, your relationship would be based off of lies, and would not revert back to your original relationship, whatever that may have been...
